Re: Bailey Smith
100% we should be targeting this bloke. His breakaway speed, two way running and his ball use is what we need desperately in the midfield. He’s a big advocate of mental health and I think Saints can get around him. I have heard a similar rumour as he recently broke up with his girlfriend and is looking for a new change.

Re: Bailey Smith
Exactly the sort of player who would add plenty to our side.

Re: Bailey Smith
Why not, we got such great value out of the last big ticket druggie we took!
Mental illness my arse, just stay off the grog and other mind altering substances and you will be fine.
Please don’t point out that the majority of young people are also doing it, are they then also pulling the mental health card?

Re: Bailey Smith
Everyone is enquiring so that will drive his price up to way more than he's worth. He's a more than handy outsider, he would improve our midfield, but he's not the answer to our prayers.

Re: Bailey Smith
Not for $800K. Would add to those we have that cannot deliver a ball successfully inside 50. We have plenty of these already- hence one of the reasons he isn't playing at WB

Re: Bailey Smith
We desperately need someone of his class in the middle. If the club gets him I won’t complain

Re: Bailey Smith
Bytel has played 5 out of a possible 19 games.
Was probably injured or returning from injury 10 of the other 14

I know you do….BUT ….you don’t actually ‘follow’ them that closely.
Just because you are supporter, doesn’t mean that you have a creditable opinion. Bytel has ONLY lined up at the opening bounce for just 1 full game this year in the seniors. He was the sub in the other 4 games.
He’s lined up at Sandringham 9 times and been best on ground in 5 matches.

Inside mid at Sandy.
Here’s his games tally for the seniors…you’ll note that he was SUB four times this year.

Scollop mate… get over Bytel. It’s like you are in love with the guy. Just go down to the club and ask him out already!Scollop wrote: ↑Tue 18 Jul 2023 7:30pmDo you follow the Saints?nostalgicsaint wrote: ↑Tue 18 Jul 2023 7:19pmBytel has played 5 out of a possible 19 games.

Ahh….Bytel ….our smoking gun…the new Luke Ball ..
Bailey? Right price I’d have him ….but he’s still not that burst goal kicking x 2 I’d want first

Re: Bailey Smith
WHAT IF… Geelong get Bailey Sniff, can’t afford players, we go in and try and take Max Holmes and dress it up like you will get less midfield minutes compared to saints. OR Geelong already know we are getting Max Holmes and are putting contingencies like Bailey Sniff to replace? Mate that would make my day if true.

Re: Bailey Smith
Saynta, apologies wasn’t tasteful but when you’ve tried to talk sense into scallop about Bytel for the last two weeks I’m starting to genuinely believe he’s got it in for the guy.saynta wrote: ↑Tue 18 Jul 2023 9:03pmNot an acceptable footy reply mate.TheGreatZacsby wrote: ↑Tue 18 Jul 2023 8:45pmScollop mate… get over Bytel.
