Where are all the w@knees saying it’s fane plan??
Selection committee?? Utter dross!
This list is so so
That win proves it
I can’t fathom why I’m the second half that forward line decided to semi function
Oh and for the record - I thought Cooper Sharman field kicks and kicks into 50 to lower eyes was superb
You watching Seb “bomb” Ros??

Eagles gained 2.5% from an 8pt loss
That's got to be the biggest percentage gain ever for a loss

All we did was put lipstick on absolute pig of a performance.
That just papers over the cracks of the real problems we’re facing and to say the end result as all that matters is being aloof to the reality of our form.

We have to thank the wet toast for not sacking their coach !
They play the lions in brissie next week, so cue another huge loss and then they'll give him the old lemon n sars.

Agree he needs help. But to criticise a bloke who is playing a position that no one else can at the moment and doing the best he possibly can and isn’t doing that badly needs to be thought about a little bit more carefully. He had a good game tonight. He gets the ball himself and gives it off without the help of anyone . Anyone who feels that need to put s*** on this guy at the moment is just , I don’t know off the charts crazyDevilhead wrote: ↑Sun 02 Jul 2023 8:54pmI am not saying to drop him ..... he needs proper ruck back up helpThe Fireman wrote: ↑Sun 02 Jul 2023 8:42pmMarshall is the best we have ..sorry devil head but you need to give yourself an uppercutDevilhead wrote: ↑Sun 02 Jul 2023 8:38pmIf you think Marshall is going to beat Gawn & Grundy using Hammer and Owens as a back up in turn weakening the strength of our tall forward set up against May & Lever then the d**khead crown is all yours

Re: Match Thread Saints v Eagles Round 16 2023
Sorry but his ruck positioning in the 1st half was sub standard .... continually outmuscled and out positioned ..... his standard go to is to try and grab the ball and boot it blindly out of the contest and most of the time he can't do that because he is positioned behind the opposition ruckmanThe Fireman wrote: ↑Sun 02 Jul 2023 8:58pmAgree he needs help. He is average at finding front position ..... if he does get a hit out its barely to our advantage
He got better in the 2nd half around the ground taking a few soild grabs
That said 42% disposal efficiency with 8 clangers
Not questioning his effort ...... though I will question the effort of some others

Re: Match Thread Saints v Eagles Round 16 2023
Marshall - his game today was immense
I’d take a ruckman who gets 26 possessions, 34HOs, 6 tackles, 8 clearances
Over a lumbering tall or jumping athlete that gets less than 10 touches and a few hit outs to advantage

42% DE & 8 Clangers or we gunna ignore that?
He improved in the 2nd half ...... by a fair margin
His 1st half was trash despite 12 disposals hence when I first commented

Where did I say he should be dropped?
I said he had a very average 1st half and that his rucking was below average ...... am I wrong?

No one at this stage ... as it is Lyon won't try anyone else anywayThe Fireman wrote: ↑Sun 02 Jul 2023 10:14pm.? I certainly didn’t say that you stated that he should be dropped. I’m just saying who else can we put in his position that does anything better than he can
It's obviously a position going forward where we need better depth
