I wonder if Anderson and Broad will still be playing for England when the Aussies return to the Old Dart in 4 years time.

Bazball will be done and dusted by then, the mind boggles what name they'll give to their 2027 style cricket.

How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

Poms are coping s*** for being too nice to the Aussies.

If I was in the Aussie team I wouldn't talk to the pricks.

They are my least favorite team.

Ozball beats f****** Bazball hands down.

I must commend this age old cricket question. The irony, not lost, coming from a poster named whiskers. May I attempt an answer?

Root, always for longevity as Tongue is very much in the honeymoon phase.

Its the crumpled Long Room look made popular by Dr WG Grace and Colin Cowdrey. Absent minded genius is the message. Takes a 100 seamstresses to get the wrinkles to hang properly, other wise it looks like you are going home after a night on the piss.

Just as the commentariat were working themselves up about NL taking 500 test wickets. Tough timing all round.

yes
unfortunately I reckon without gary the Ashes are lost .
He was a big reason we were able to win the first test .
If we cant post a decent second innings score then it'll be one all . then his replacement , whoever they choose are decent spinners only the poms will be able to score heavily off them .

I think if the Poms get any sort of first innings lead here the Test is done. No Lyon will hurt for the rest of the series, and especially in this Test.

he's a spinner. just wrap his leg - he can bowl standing.

Wowee, didn’t see that first session coming, 6-47 to knock the Poms over, now need to make the most of their advantage 👍

Losing Lyon will be a loss, but it will give Murphy a chance to find his way for the remainder of the series.

yes

has a feel of downhill skiing about it

though

gotta have a go to win the big show
... we shouldn't under estimate it's potential
to hustle runs quickly

but , momentum is ours ... all ours

lets concentrate on keeping foot on throat

It seems, in the space of 24 hours, England have gone from the ‘brave, new future’ to ‘same, old likely-to-be-beatens’

In a flash..

Puff!

We’ve forgotten about getting our spuds cooked by India six months ago…we are test champs.

We’ve forgotten about Cummings and his ‘isms. He is a champ! The hero!

Australia are riding the crest of a big wave here.

This could be white wash country!!

Does anyone know why all our players have peanut butter stains on their right lapels?
