You don't qualify to play off in a GF based on a favourable call from an umpire.

Why complain about stuff we can't control? Footballers don't. Coaches don't.

Our club needs to create a winning culture. Develop strong leadership on field. Get the right draft picks and free agents and the rest will take care of itself

Indisputable. Nevertheless from the irrational viewpoint of this member can't help what iffing that 50, Dunkley free/goal, Max's shot not touched, how momentum may have gone our way. Still it did seem BNE could change gear and goal as the mood took them as we scrambled and tried with a lot less talent.

By my count we are 2nd in the comp for free kick differential at +42, only behind Brisbane on +46.

We've had 2 games this year where we've literally received double the free kicks of our opposition.

We've got one of the softest fixtures in the comp this season.

All this makes it very tough going for some!

All the umpires have to do is call "play on" when the player with the ball plays on.
Only has one job to do at that time, could not even do that.

As for Collingwood getting gifted 4 points by the umpires, I don't mind.
They are well clear of St Kilda.
St Kilda is now competing for the lower half of the eight.

St Kilda has only 10 top 20 draft picks on their list
Jones, Higgins and Crouch are imports
That's 7 St Kilda top 20 draft picks still playing for St Kilda
Coffield and Clark both on the injured list
Billings getting fit a Sandringham
Only Gresham, King, W-Milera, and Phillipou playing were taken in the top 20 by St Kilda.

That's 4 playing that were drafted by St KIlda, two of them still wet behind the ears.
Where are the other top 20 picks from the last 12 years.
