Luke Hodge Mathew Richardson Brian Taylor all agree the umpire made a mistake
This forum blame Howard lol
There is seriously something wrong with you curly
Yeah and you love it.
You were calling out for him last week when he wasn’t even posting.
Exposed!
Not sure if I love it. If you noticed, I asked him on several occasions to start another thread about the umpires. The free kicks were even and I thought the umpires were okay have you read his posts?
Umpires were terrible tonight.
Free to Dunkley and goal mistake
50 against Howard incorrect goal Coleman
Daniher allowed to handball the ball out of bounds no free
Countless Brisbane players given extended time in tackles
StKilda no time pinned immediately
The report of King. Great way to throw a player off his game.
Pooh was sh!t again.
His kicking left a bit to be desired.
Maybe that is because he actually got ZERO kicks just 12 handballs and tackle.
Metres gained, well actually he went backwards 5 metres.
He was worse than Byrnes who only had 2/3 the games time but still got 6 kicks
King was a disaster ZERO marks
He should have been sent to Andrews in the first quarter just to spoil the ball to ground.
But then maybe RTB is not interested in winning otherwise Bytel would be playing for St Kilda and Pooh for Sandringham.
And why else would he have left Caminiti to be bullied by Andrews.

Just left game and we were outplayed. Their number 31 killed us. We have a lot of young players who will get better and are getting valuable experience. Multiple times I saw hammer and the poo getting manhandled and pushed off the ball. Give them a pre season in the gym.
Sinclair is a hbf so stop wanting him to play a mid role, it’s not his best possible
Stop long bombing to king all night. It doesn’t work.
Our game plan has changed and it’s not good. No one runs to give kicker options and we stand in each other pockets. It doesn’t work.
Backs need more support from mids, they can keep out all the incoming kicks.
Bottom line we are making up numbers this season but next season looks good
Good post. Pretty much the way I see it as well we have the money let’s see how we go the draft. A mid and ruckman

They are a better side than us and they will do well in the finals, but I really wonder
if Howard gets another game with us we are in trouble
He will because we don't have an alternate tall to play full back.

I think it's now re-proven a coach makes NO difference if he inherits a list full of spuds.
Recruiters and List managers make or break a coach, it seems.
Can't imagine why you would think that
Bontempelli and Petracca would hardly help win a few clearances.

Not that impressed with you list of outs Curly only Ross would be likely to get on the park for any period of time, the rest are our medical room specialists. Better to go to Bytel, Heath, Highmore . Steele needs a rest, Roma needs some help, Highmore is a better user than Paton and Van Es although a long #hot has got to be smarter than Howard.

Still I hope we don't get stiffed by the Eagles next week. They are expecting a few of their crew back next week and I'll be there.
It’s a huge concern. The way we’re playing, we could play them back into form and consign ourselves to the doldrums.

Yeah saw it same
Was a bit like boys against men tonight ….they just looked physically bigger/stronger
Caminiti might need a rest abd still like to see Owens free run in mid

Eagles are $9.30 atm maybe a lazy dollar or two might be worth it.
NOTE: tongue in cheek joke
Hope as part of game retros coaches spend 15 minutes reading the SS game thread picking up from die hard supporters what could be a workable insights.
So if coaches are reading this post.....
STOP LONG BOMB KICKING THE F-ING FOOTY ON TOP OF KING'S HEAD.
If we cleared up just this one game strategy we would have beat Hawks/tigers and I'd suggest been a chance last night. F50 entries should be RTBs only discussion item with coaches this week. Delivery into space 35 out rather than kick long and pray. King playing for Lions last night would have kicked 6.

Must say for some time I’ve wondered why King doesn’t lead
He loiters 20 out pack forms …markers up!
Low %
I watch Lions forwards…movement
That said….I would say the ball came down with much purpose or precision delivery …and it would be nice to get a mid to burst from centre and hit lead up forward on the chest …alas

I think our ruck and mids will be a bigger discussion. We cannot continue starting all our F50 entries from the back half. That's too much pressure on any defence.
P.S.: If King got on his bike a little more and players knew he was leading, they probably wouldn't need to bomb it as much.

P.P.S: We need flexibility. Mix things up. Too many players are allowed to linger in their comfort zones. King to the wing, the ruck, or a stint in the backline would enhance his playing strengths and open up our forward line. Rotate Howard through the ruck is another option. Having undersized Owens rucking is futile. Caminitti to the backline is another possibility. The Justin Koschitzke played brilliantly there in his formative early years with the club. Riewoldt was often used down back to halt the forward thrusts of the opposition.
We need creativity. We’re too predictable. Cuddly Ross should also regain some meanness. There’s a general lack of accountability.
