Votes v Swans
5. Brad Crouch . Our best midfielder all night. Four quarter performance.
4. Mich Owens. What a star this bloke will become . Great contested marks both forward and back, crucial goals, has pace , rucks - the real deal.
3. Cal Wilkie . Dominated the first half, and key defensive efforts when it was tight in the last.
2. Jack Sinclair . Quiet early , but was critical in the second half - when many players wasted their disposals, he was clinical.
1. Dan Butler. Two key goals, lovely pass to King for another, and provided great forward pressure all night. If he gets rubbed out for “that” tackle , then there is something wrong with the game.
Many others did well. NWM got it a lot , but I felt those listed above used it better. He is however going to be a beauty.

Re: Votes v Swans
5. Crouch - as said above, 4 quarter performance, best mid
4. NWM - phenomenal second half… match winning performance
3.Wilkie - Nuff said
2. Owens - Love this kid. Does the match winning thongs
And the hot take…
1. Sharman - hardest role in football for us is coming on late and making a difference… got to a number of contests and turned them to his team mates advantage, did ok in the ruck, kicked a big goal, almost snagged another and set up Hill at the end with a slick handball.

Re: Votes v Swans
5. Wilkie - tough assignment with the milestone, and completely dominated Buddy and ran off him
4. Crouch - in and under machine
2 Butler -- attack and defence tonight, do not suspend him you idiots
1 Sinclair - top 10 in the league
1 Owens - Elite is beckoning
1 King - set up 3 , kicked 3...working his way back
1 NWM - that goal was crucial to him, you could see he was nervous, and if he adds goalkicking to his weaponery we have another gun
Lot of good battlers tonight

Re: Votes v Swans
5 NWM - best game for the club
4 Crouch
3 Owens
2 King
1 any one of Sinclair, Steele, Wilkie and Butler.
Stocker was quite good too and Ross was ok.
Sharman did well after coming on. He could conceivably supplant Caminiti next week.

Re: Votes v Swans
5 - Cal Wilkie. Towelled up Buddy on his big night. Kept the backline cool as a cucumber. Had the most intercepts and did a game saving marking contest.
4 - NWM. Breakout game today. Kid was a jet.
3 - Owens. Kept us in it. Was Mr Fix it.
2 - Sinclair. His run out of half back and his decision making was pivotal in our win.
1 - Brad Crouch. Played his heart out.

Re: Votes v Swans
Hard to split, was a well rounded team game.
5. NWM
4. Wilkie
3. Crouch
2. Sinclair
1. Owens
Marshall, Gresham, King Unlucky.
Steele and Ross 2nd half rates a mention but went missing in the first.
Butler finished well but at one point I had him in the VFL next week.

Re: Votes v Swans
5. Sinclair (he played the smartest football, and guided us in the second half with great play)
4. Crouch (really hard worker)
3. Wilke (quality)
2. NWM ( great second half)

Re: Votes v Swans
Can’t agree on Sharman. If he didn’t take that mark ( swans player fell over) then having him as sub was pointless. Kid is not AFL standard. Is weak, looked unfit and is a one trick pony, which, on a greasy night, is a hard trick to performskeptic wrote: ↑Thu 08 Jun 2023 11:05pm 5. Crouch - as said above, 4 quarter performance, best mid

I watched him closely.Moods wrote: ↑Fri 09 Jun 2023 11:51amCan’t agree on Sharman. If he didn’t take that mark ( swans player fell over) then having him as sub was pointless. Kid is not AFL standard. Not unfit… was all over the ground
Got to a ton of contests, brought the ball down to his team mates advantage
5 touches, kicked a goal, pretty much set up another that was missed
3 tackles
Competed well in the ruck
Had more impact that Caminati did
That was the stand out performance we’ve had from a sub this season. Came on, was everywhere, kicked a crucial goal and brought his team mates into the game.
Pbly ridiculous giving him a vote but if you can be bothered to rewatch that last quarter specifically looking for Sharman… he was really really lively. If he could stick his marks a bit better he might have kicked 3

Re: Votes v Swans
I prefer Sharman than Caminiti. He has X factor.
