So you won’t be happy with a win.
Thought so.
I’d be happy if you commented on football and not my posts

With Parker out next week should be one of our winnable games.
Here’s hoping we can arrest the slide, otherwise going to be a long cold winter.
Clarke hurts us
Buddy’s 350 they’ll be up and about
This will not be easy
I just want to see sone pressure
Sone midfield changes
Some good transitions into forwards
I’d take that
Are you thinking it should be a good opportunity for an "exploritory loss". I learn so much from our style of exploration, it's so innovative, no one else is doing it like us.
I think the last 5 minute of the Hawks game is our new blueprint for exploration.
I think you should explore what it’s like to be a true supporter..as opposed to an online troll who only crawls out from his rock after we lose a game or two
I’d try as opposed to exploring you’re head up your own ass
Should smell better too

If it is played in the rain, No Parker, Mills, McCartins will hurt them.
It's absolutely essential to get off to a good start against them.
Ins: Owens, Windhager, Highmore
Outs: Clark (inj), + two others
Don’t mind those ins
I’m interested in “exploring” Highmore in one’s
Who makes way is the question…
Agree read good start
I also think we have to get back to attack not just defending

I must admit presently I am getting more amusement from following your internet trail and your frantic and manic effort to shield your Superhero from harms way. I do worry though you will need a stronger shield force if the cracks getting any bigger.
Do you think you have resources to keep the Starship Enterprise on coarse in the event of a meteor shower?
May the force be with you for the second half Dr Spock.

I won’t need a shield with a solid 4 year contract for the great man !!
Question is: what are you going to do when they re-sign Sharman??
You’ll have to crawl back under your bed or find a new young player to bash mercilessly??

Sydney
How is their midfield? And that cocky bastard is not playing too..
I think our midfield, which is been made to look mediocre big time this season, has a chance here.
Crouch and Ross are pros. They might not be the biggest and best, but they are usually ready to give you that full 6/10 relative performance that might be better than Sydney’s 5/10 relative goodness, sans the cocky one..(even though he is a part time mid)
Especially considering Siocker and NWM being good allows Sincs to run there
…and then enter the MIGHTY WIND! (Windy) and potential Bytel? EDIT: Bytes has concussion, not avail.
What will the shorter ground mean for us re our midfield to forward transition and the forward zone in general.
I think King could have a blast. Kick 8 goals OR 8 behinds,
Camaniti maybe a little low given the collision and some errors in recent weeks.
There are questions marks on all of Cam, Membrey and Sharman (that’s before we start discussing Kings accuracy)
So it could be Gresh and Butler and Higgo that cause carnage.
All in all…somehow, if we win the shuffle on the white board, we have enough forwards to cause havoc and win.
Summary so far
Mids have a unique chance to actually win for once
Forwards, highly unpredictable but with many (too?) many options. Lyons experience and the other coaches should be able to figure out the right combo)
Now defence
We have been cut up like butter this year just a few times, but enough to show us it ain’t Fort Knox.
I would like to see Highmore in our team, and Webby is a bit shakey (not to mention Battle) but I can’t see home getting in, and perhaps Webby will have another chance. That’s my guess. In summary, I think the defence, extraordinarily, is our weak link in this game. Completely different from other games. Our mids can do some damage for once, and we have enough forward options to win this.
Against the odds, and I think we must not be favorites (and we never win there) , we have a real chance in this game.
If we let Blakey run amok and double his average possessions to 40 possessions (as we did with Sicily), or let one of his team mates on the half back line do something similar ... then potentially, that's where we could lose the game.
Allowing half back lines too much free rein and easy rebound is the weakness that's become obvious to me in RL's game plan.
I know I've been harping on about this, but it was frustrating to watch under RL 1.0 - and it's happening again under RL 3.0.

I don’t know about criminal, but they obviously decide to let these guys run around. That’s official. Things is, on a shorter smaller, but still wide ground, this half back spring loader thing has the potential to be a ‘two-kicks-to-Buddy’ like situation and could lead to rapid run ons on the scoreboard unless holes are immediately checked. This is what Lyon and Longmire will do. Rather than tag Blakey, they’ll close up the zone and make a quagmire. But…the might actually help us, especially if it rains. Our mids actually have a chance for once, and we have so many forward options, that a ‘messy game’ might suit us.
Thank goodness Windhager has been selected. Of course, there were no other viable options, but in the past that hasn't stopped Ross from omitting players he doesn't rate.
I reckon we'll go all right. Ross has a pretty handle on what Sydney under Longmire is likely to deliver, and how best to counter it.

Is this the first game where Seb and Butler have been named on the bench?
Membrey named as emergency...when do the Zebs play?
Edit: Friday, Tramway Oval in Sydney, Moore Park- not far from Bondi Junction

We should meet up at Flinders Street station some time and and out fliers together, what time do you normally hit the steps?
