Re: Predictions this Round
As I am unable to get to Sydney this year, I am predicting a resounding win by St Kilda, something of an anomaly for games against the Swannies.
Jack Steele to own the centre square with 30+ possessions and 12 tackles
King to kick 6
Owens, Windy & Phillipou to rotate through the midfield as a glimpse into the future
Brad Hill to get the one Brownlow vote behind Captain Jack & Max
Billings to kick two goals after coming on as sub halfway through the 3rd quarter

Re: Predictions this Round
Higgo to advance his grip on the top goal scorer
Crouch to advance his grip on the TB medal
Swans by a really small margin in one of the ugliest games of football ever to be played
My Brother Teffers to crank up his screaming at strangers on the steps of Flinders Street station.

Re: Predictions this Round
RTB is in denial.
Says we only had one bad game.
He won't drop Seb, Crouch, Higgo
Higgo needs dropping as he dropped his head after fluffing the gimme

What Ross says to the media and what he believes are two different things. I judge based on actions not words, so we will see what happens this week.

Re: Predictions this Round
It would be a wise investment to put a few $$ on Swines to win by 35.5+ as 6 goals minimum would make sense, based on how rubbish we've been since the Carlton game.
Paying over $4.
Revisit this one late on Thurs night

Re: Predictions this Round
The boys have belief which is good but the past month would predict a solid victory to the swans going on form
That said the swannies have been unexpectedly ordinary this season for a team that played off in last years GF
Expecting us to be competitive through to the end of the 3rd

Re: Predictions this Round
Tough contest resulting in a predictable SCG loss by under a couple goals.
Kick more points than goals and have more scoring shots also.
Blakey to eclipse Sicily record from last game fro intercept marks.
Buddy to do SFA on Wilkie until the last 2 minutes where he kicks a 50 m bomb to end the game.
Looks like i will be watching the cricket

Re: Predictions this Round
Selectors will agonise over who to play on Papley and will second guess themselves into a wrong decision.
I think just get Battle to run over him three or four times early to mitigate the damage. Don't like advocating gratuitous violence but am at the end justifies means barracking point.

Re: Predictions this Round
You just play Paton on Papley. Nothing to agonize over. That's what he is in the side for.
Stocker could do the job but is better off being damaging off half back.
I actually think you'll see Stocker and Sincs rotating through the midfield a bit more this week.

Re: Predictions this Round
OK, scratch my JB prediction & put it on hold for his first game of 2023 (as sub).
Butler to kick 3 instead.

Only 4-6 weeks away, another half paced mini pre-season and then he can trip over his shoelaces on the way onto the ground - 6 weeks.Ghost Like wrote: ↑Tue 06 Jun 2023 6:11pm OK, scratch my JB prediction & put it on hold for his first game of 2023 (as sub).

Re: Predictions this Round
No Sicily, no Sydney (geographically speaking)???
As long as Blakey doesn't become this week's Sicily (hopefully RL 3.01 has learnt from last week).
