Post: # 2010201Post lewdogs »

He is starting to put together a really great season. His last month has been exceptional.

I feel like he has been flying under the radar a bit. When you start to wonder what this kids ceiling could be, its genuinely exciting.

Some of his poise at the death on Sunday was brilliant. He breaks lines and sets up a lot of our attack. You'd have to think a tag will be coming soon because he was allowed to do as he liked last weekend and made GWS pay.

Looks like an out and out gun player, hats off to the recruiters.

Not his job but I would love to see him kick a couple through the big sticks.

Is he eligible for Rising Star?

He deserved a nomination for Sunday's game, probably his career best.

Keep the attention and expectation off the kid and he will shine. Best to fly under the radar of opposition.

Agree he was brilliant yesterday and Stocker wasnt too far behind him. The both made a couple of small errors under pressure but they stood up in important moments.

53 touches between them. Bound to be a few sprayed here or there

He has been very good, and yesterday he was very composed and involved. It was amusing seeing him standing near Sinclair at one point. Sincs has massive calves, while Nas has twigs!

Re Stocker, interestingly Ross wasn't too complimentary about him in the press conference!

RTB surprised me on that too
Stocker he saw as work in progress with some moments he’d take back ???
Hard man to please Lyon

i recall one shocking kick by Stocker to a GWS player.. he switched play, had plenty of time and measured straight to an opponent who was clear... maybe he was referring to that one

Nas has been incredible. I remember when drafted the biggest question was whether he would accumulate possessions - never any question on skill. We’ll he’s done that in the last month that is for sure

At 6 foot 2 in the old currency he's a very good size to play just about anywhere on the ground, including outside mid contests.

He's only 20 and appears a bit shy and timid by nature but as he matures and gains more confidence he is likely to become a star of the competition.

That 2021NAB Draft has to be the best St Kilda has done in the past 30 years or more - Windhager, Owens, Wanganeen Milera, 3 future A graders!

They could well form the nucleus of a new Golden era for St Kilda....

Otherwise, he is disqualified from the company of competent leaders."

Just noticed a little thing in his game on Sunday.
He was really good in the first half, then missed some easy targets early in the 2nd and seemed to lose confidence in himself for a while. Reluctant to take kicks and missed a few more targets.
He managed to overcome it and was back to his normal self in the last quarter.

He'll be a very, very good player for us for some time.

Windhager was the only one nominated last year.
NWM played 17 games so not eligible this year.

I would have stuck with 20 years.
2000 Riewoldt Kosi
2001 Ball, Clarke, Dal, Maguire, Montagna

He was terrific against GWS. Our second best player behind Sinclair. He’d be easily among our 10 best performers so far this season.
