He’s alright isn’t he. Long arms, quick hands and some footy smarts. Certainly no mug when it hits the ground.

That would of been a red card in soccer
Well they are not playing soccer. You cannot tackle a player who doesn't have possession of the ball.

Post of the week. 79% disposal efficiency is either superb or putrid.

I say the former.

But even Dunstall, Plugger and Peter Hudson missed 'em too
But you are saying the grounds were worse than today in the same argument. Mud that was inches deep in those era’s too.

If we need a goal to win after the siren then we are in big strife. Who would you actually trust to kick 7/10? from 35-45m out? Very slim pickings and it’s been like that for far too long.
It's actually easier to kick the footy straight in sloppy muddy ground than it is on the modern day harder and slippery surfaces.

Rooy was an aerobic beast, but he still had issues and many footballers have issues. I think we underestimate the fatigue factor from the amount of running, when it comes to set shot kicking

He was very good for the most part but there were a few easy kicks that missed open targets by quite a distance

Just an observation

He sometimes duffs the easy kick. Must just be a concentration issue.
Thought his ball use and vision was excellent

NWM needs to get confident kicking for goals. He’s an excellent field kick. It will come.

f****** outrageous non decision. Even the missus was appalled.

Remember "Three bind mice". Well I have a new one. "Four blind maggots."

It might have been mentioned in here already (not sure, as I was at the game and not on here!), but there was a tremendous amount of support for St Kilda at the ground. It seemed like it was all St Kilda along the bottom level on the outer wing (the far side of the ground as per the tv cameras). I felt like there were possibly more Saints fans than Giants there. Previous times I've been there, there have been more Giants fans. The top decks of some of the stands weren't open this time.
