I see the Giants are giving away free tickets to anyone and anybody who is 16 and under! What sort of business model is that?!
Your friendly neighbourhood samurai.

Dougal Howard you will be scrutinized.
I hope you are a rock in defence!

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Giants Round 10 2023
Soooooo boring.
Why the heck would you have a defensive minded player struggling for form as the sub.
You could throw Bytel in the middle to see if he could get you some clearances
Windhager to tag and then maybe bob up for a goal
Shaman to see if he could take a grab, play as a bit of a swing man through the middle or sit on a HBF to free up someone
Paton is close to the last choice I’d have on the list for that role
He’s not only a known quantity at this point but he’s had the most opportunity of all of them in consideration

I’m really worried about our midfield
Just hoping they lift. My whole scrutiny will be on them

Why not scrutinise players who can be more easily replaced in the team?magnifisaint wrote: ↑Sun 21 May 2023 5:31pm Dougal Howard you will be scrutinized.

Has the total crowd reached double figures ?
How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

Odd move leaving Paton out this week.
Best lock down small/medium defender with good record against Greene. He is looking very dangerous.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Giants Round 10 2023
I wouldn’t have minded if he started
I wouldn’t have minded if he was dropped
Can’t stand the choice of him as sub
Maybe he can come on and tag Green after he gets his 30th touch

And when we say 'midfield' that includes the extended midfield with wingers, high half forwards and Brad HillThe Fireman wrote: ↑Sun 21 May 2023 5:35pm I’m really worried about our midfield

Hilly had a shocker last week. Only 13 touches
He's started poorly today with a loopy shallow inside 50 early in the 1st that went to a 50/50 contest and Higgins (short arse) was outmarked
