Having our two KPFs in at exactly the right time. Giants are leaking goals at the moment. Hopefully the boys kick at least 100 points, and preferably 20 goals.
I hope I'm wrong, but I imagine King will get manhandled all day and get zero frees, because, St Kilda.
He will take 6-8 marks, have 5 shots at goal.
Score 1.3 and one out of bounds.
I really hope I'm wrong
just having our spearhead down there means the ball won't come straight out because it hase been marked unopposed by a KPF.
He can also bring the ball down to where our crumbers can pounce.
We also have Caminiti down there now too, don't forget. And now he isn't the focal point.

We will kick little. They will kick less. Ommmmmmm.
I would have agreed with you before Adelaide.
Let's hope The Defensive Universe agrees with you.
Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti!
I've got a Toby feeling about this.

One thing is certain- no need to take the crowd out of the equation.
Would be lucky to get 13k to the ground.
(I think GWS vs Blues early this season got <10k, and AFL app won't give any crowd sizes for any games last yr at Giants Stadium)
Not much noise.
Ok, most goals
Higgo 4
Most marks Wilkie 12
Most touches Crouch 28 (Steele has a sore knee n might be rested)
Margin: Us by 12
I personally think GWS is done and dusted.
Either piss them off to Canberra or fold them after Tassie comes in.
You've had enough experience in huge organizations to understand that closing a failed experiment is an admission that they made a big mistake.
So folding them is never gonna happen
Imagine if they end up in Canberra (which might have more AFL cred than Western Sydney) and they merge with Ainslie Saints colours
(I had a meal at Ainslie once, when I went to ACT with 6 or 7 other Defence employees for a training course)
Yeah, I have had meals at Ainslie footy club, Even had lunch there with Cowboy when he was the coach.
Yes, they have similar colours but from memory the panels are reversed. Black white and red.
Personally I believe that they, GWS, can't exist in Western Sydney. The population there is just not interested in Aussie Rules with less than 2000 kids playing the game and that's being generous with the numbers.
On the other hand, games in Canberra now draw more fans than GWS games in Sydney.
Canberra has a rich history of supporting AFL, unlike Western Sydney.
Unfortunately since the hey days of Cowboy and his ilk, AFL has waned there simply because Canberra now has local Rugby league and Ruby union teams in National competitions.Raiders and Brumbies.
All that would likely change if the ACT had its own team.

I think we'll win today - anywhere between 20-40 points. If I was betting I'd be going the Saints and couple that with Under 164 for total score from both teams

i foresee more doom and gloom.
This joint and other footy forums will go ballistic if we lose.
Match committee and coaches have set this team up for failure with bad selections and the omission of Bytel in recent weeks
Windy had a pearler in the VFL last week and was probably thinking he was a good chance to make seniors
Teflon mentioned the word 'disheartened' to describe how Windy might be feeling. He didn't perform that well playing for Sandringham today( according to some)

Well, I only got ONE thing right
A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.
Remember one of the 10 Commandments : Thou shalt have no other team before thee

Well done on the margin Wellard. Surprisingly there were a few who got the margin right
Otiman and lewdogs picked it and Fireman was nervous (got some splinters on his backside)...but I sensed he was thinking 2 goals as well

7,500 supporters at the Giants stadium in the outer western suburbs of Sydney. And before people say it is due to our supporters not turning up - there were only 9,000 to watch Carlton play up there.
As I posted before, GWS were giving away free tickets to anybody 16 and under.
I only watched on TV, but it seemed like there were at least 7 times the number of St Kilda supporters as Giants'.

The big, big sound? I think not.

Ironically, at the time GWS and GCS entered the comp, we took a serious nose dive as the talent pool was drastically diluted due to the significant draft concessions given, now Tasmania enters the comp at the worst possible time with regards to Ross Lyon having access to talent in the draft as he tries to build a team capable of challenging, I know he wasn't happy about the Tasmanian license being given.
The Tassie crowds aren't going to be any better than at GWS.
GWS, GCS and the new Tassie side will be a significant drain on the competition for at least the next 50 years, GCS will probably enjoy the most success out of those three as they are situated in a part of Australia where the location and demographics are favourable.
