GWS v Sandy
1/3 time.
Sandy 4.4 28 to GWS 2.4. 16
GWS kicked last two goals.
Bytel 12 possessions.
Guess either Paton or Cooper will be the sub.

Re: GWS v Sandy
Something I’m wondering about. Do players like Windy and Bytes appear to be playing a different role at VFL level? I mean, do they seem to have more license down there?
Always remember Stevie Baker saying that if he wanted to play AFL in the first’s regularly, he’d have to severely curtail his repertoire of tricks and focus on being one thing, basically a pest.

Re: GWS v Sandy
Sandy 2 points down at half time
5.4 to 5.4
They were kicking into a strong breeze. Hope our coach is taking note.
Bytel leading Sandy possession winner with 21 . Tyson not far behind.
Highmore and Bytel too good at this level but Windy is struggling.
Owens brother is not bad.

Re: GWS v Sandy
I wouldn't say that. Campbell and Connolly doing OK and Billings slowly getting into it.

Saints players, apart from Bytel and Campbell, appear to be treading water….skills-wise
Go you good things....!!!

Re: GWS v Sandy
Probably 3 or 4 players ready to go if we have injuries or form loss in the right areas Bytel, Highmore, windhager and Campbell a couple of others Connolly and Peris part of the way there. Big concern in key position back ups though Adams, Van Es, Keebler and Heath not showing enough and you could probably add Cordy to that group as well. Only hope with the first four is their still young and could come good eventually.

Re: GWS v Sandy
Thought both Adams and Heath showed a bit in difficult conditions especially for bigger players
With the injuries there are just too many sub standard VFL players needing to be played to fill a team
The focus is on individual players and their recovery/development
