What has our social media team been smoking?
Doing the rounds on social media today was various (not to mention, vacuous) Hollywood celebrities draped in that shizenhousen throwback Pura Milk spray jacket the club released before the Gather Round. Considering the surreal world we now live in, I have to admit, I wasn’t sure if it was photoshopped or not from first glance. I sent a link to my girlfriend who gets some level of amusement from the tabloids and she only found it to be total cringe. Sure, no big deal, but why is the social media team taking such a lame angle?

You say "smoking" like you don't have the occasional toke?Sainternist wrote: ↑Thu 04 May 2023 7:37pm Doing the rounds on social media today was various (not to mention, vacuous) Hollywood celebrities draped in that shizenhousen throwback Pura Milk spray jacket the club released before the Gather Round. Hahahaha that’s quite an assumption to make! Why would you say that?Vortex wrote: ↑Thu 04 May 2023 10:52pmYou say "smoking" like you don't have the occasional toke?Sainternist wrote: ↑Thu 04 May 2023 7:37pm Doing the rounds on social media today was various (not to mention, vacuous) Hollywood celebrities draped in that shizenhousen throwback Pura Milk spray jacket the club released before the Gather Round. You’re on quite the scent trail. In terms of what I meant in asking “What have they been smoking?”, I was referring more to the hard stuff like meth or crack. I just found photoshopping Saints merch on various celebs at the Met Gala to be a little silly and OTT. The social media team has posted the odd silly thing lately. But it’s all pretty harmless, I guess.Vortex wrote: ↑Fri 05 May 2023 9:43amI have a nose for these things.Sainternist wrote: ↑Fri 05 May 2023 1:09amHahahaha that’s quite an assumption to make! The advertising agencies in the '80's were notorious for using 'novel' aides to help with their creativity. Either that or they were earning obscene amounts and had the spare cash to splash on party drugsSainternist wrote: ↑Sat 06 May 2023 4:39amYou’re on quite the scent trail. How else are they supposed to break through all the noise? I think it’s clever, though probably not original.

It's only trying to put a smile on faces. Some people need to lighten up.
