jack found a bit of form in the second half - ended up our best mid by end of game.
just needs game time. to important to leave out unless at real risk of injury.

We shouldn't underestimate anyone at any time. We should take them as seriously as if we were playing Melbourne or Collingwood. Complacency is dangerous. You only need to be off a 5% and anyone can beat you on the day.
IF we do start beating them up, then great, but we need to keep our foot on the throat for 4 quarters. Percentage is going to be a big factor this year for anyone serious about playing finals and we have put ourselves in a great position to do just that. I predict at least a 50 point win as we're at least a 2 goal a quarter, better side than them but I'd really like to keep their score under 50 if possible. Really shut them down. They'll come out firing as last week was embarrassing but they have alot of injury concerns and they don't have the depth to cover them.

What can the players and coaches learn this week?
Never trust an umpire;
Charlie Dixons always lurk in the shadow of the posts;
Don't kick to opposition defenders if you can help it: if they are big strong talented and have a double name kick for space;
Put great weight on opportunities to goal (ie drop the drunk sailor, baah, there's plenty more where that came from approach);

Yours in continuous improvement, Y.

I don't get the standard arguments on this site.
When we are playing a team that lost the week before it is all "They will come out firing, they will be angry they lost."
Yet when we lose it is "We are looking fragile, we are not performing well."

We have lost 2 games by 7 points or less to sides that will play finals this years and are probably top 5 teams at least.
We are not a top 5 team and nor are we a bottom 5 team, but North most certainly is.
Every game is a danger game as any side can beat any other on their day.
However, we should expect to beat them and we should do so quite comfortably.
