The supporters who booed JHF
Are as brain dead as the supporters who ran onto the ground in that PF
Firstly why boo him, the whole thing has nothing to do with us
Secondly (and the most important) he, Hinkley and the Port Side thrive on that sort of stuff
All it seemed to do was inspire him and he ripped us apart
So to those supporters, you are idiots who know nothing about the game and certainly weren’t watching what was going on

Re: The supporters who booed JHF
JHF deserves to be booed IMO. Sorry, but I find the idea that these strong, muscly, macho young men are "homesick" to be quite ridiculous.
And I don't think the booing had any effect on his performance. You might not have noticed, but he is rather good.

So if Ben King said he was homesick and wanted to come back and play with St K he would be fair game to boomeher baba wrote: ↑Fri 28 Apr 2023 11:59pm JHF deserves to be booed IMO. Sorry, but I find the idea that these strong, muscly, macho young men are "homesick" to be quite ridiculous.

Secondly how do you know it had no effect. It certainly didn’t help if you saw the footage of Kenny getting into him around quarter time
and then in the second quarter he pretty much swung the game

We had a midfield of Crouch, Steele & Ross and we couldn’t curtail RHF’s influence. Says it all.

He didn't want to play in a team full of plodders with no hope of playing finals in his playing lifetime.
That's the problem with being the No1 draft pick, the chances are you are going to play your first 7 years for losers.

I think the treatment he is getting is because he clearly didn’t give anything when he was playing for North. Says a lot about him in my view

FFS he is a kid. I find the mindset of middle aged men booing a 19 year old kid quite pathetic and sad.

Re: The supporters who booed JHF
I remember another player who did something very similar about 30 years ago by the name of Nathan Buckley with Brisbane.ace wrote: ↑Sat 29 Apr 2023 12:30amHomesick, a heap of crap.meher baba wrote: ↑Fri 28 Apr 2023 11:59pm JHF deserves to be booed IMO. Funny thing, it backfired on him, Brisbane won 3 premierships and he won none.
Think of me long enough to make a memory.

Re: The supporters who booed JHF
Was an embarrassment and cringeworthy but should make us realise that every club has their fair share of knobs and we displayed ours tonight……
Don’t recall people booing Anthony Rocca or Shannon Grant back in the day.
Do any of us really know what happened at North last year?
Do any of us really care? Why would we unless we barracked for North?

I only boo him because he didn’t deserve to be Australian of the year.

Middle aged men? Mainly 17-19yo male and female around us were the booers.IluvHarvey wrote: ↑Sat 29 Apr 2023 12:47am FFS he is a kid. I find the mindset of middle aged men booing a 19 year old kid quite pathetic and sad.

Hard at the contest, quick and first hands at clearances.
The booing seems to motivate him.
He is the type of player we need to add to our one paced midfield.

You're right. Hinkley is a tosser. Re: The supporters who booed JHF
I didn’t boo him (that’s not my style). But I have zero sympathy for Horny Frank! He deserves what he gets! It’s almost a shame opposition fans aren’t also pelting him with rotten tomatoes.
He acted like a petulant entitled sook. The draft is there for bottom teams to have access to players that will drive them up. People would kill to be in his position. He treated North Melbourne with the utmost contempt. Who could blame their fans for feeling so aggrieved?

Is because
Their club didn't get him
