That should be his defense.

I guess we could make a plea around bullying or young players. Lol would put the AFL in a hard spot, given it’s activism on social issues
Love it!
Yeah

And the language they use too
No doubt the equivalent of the prosecution will say something like “causing him to miss Anzac day” which sounds so much more damaging than “causing him to miss one match” which is what it is.

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Commentators referred to Ginnivan as reigning Anzac medalist.
No such comments were made about the reigning Silk Miller medalist, Rowan Marshall or Brad Crouch as the reigning Ian Stewart medalist.
But Ginnivan got his for playing well against the 15th best team.

It's Collingwood apparently they were patched up and banged up and it was a courageous victory.

Every game in ANZAC Day round should have an ANZAC Medal.
It's selfish and ridiculous that it's only two teams that are ever eligible for this.

Or no medal at all. What have these privileged prats given for their country? The only sniper they are likely to encounter would be a stray fist behind the ear in a pack mark.

Ralph is always keen to be the first to break a big story. The other week he reported that Mason Wood would miss 6 weeks with an injury. It’s like Ralph wants to be the next Hutchy or something 🤦‍♂️

The media-driven love fest for the Filth has been nauseating. They are making out that they are every non-fan’s second team. Now, they’re scapegoating Caminiti, making out that the kid is a thug. This is absolute BS that makes my blood boil! Collingwood are the biggest crybaby club in the history of the game. Maybe they should wrap their prized coward Murphy in cottonwool the next game he plays. The Filth are weak as piss! 🤬

If you look at the footage Murphy hit caminiti on the side of the head first so if the hammer is in trouble so is Murphy

Good grief. Media now talking "at least four weeks" and "the footage isn't flattering".

Why, exactly? The footage doesn't show the area of contact. For all we know Murphy dropped like a sack of spuds to draw a free kick.

And it was the oddest "concussion" in AFL history. Murphy left the fireld unaided and mouthing off -- not exactly Paddy McCartin stuff.

Neverthleess, it's St Kilda so expect five weeks.

Nine weeks if it had been Steven Baker.

So what does that can't Murphy get?
He hit him first!

I would argue with 4 umpires there is a duty of care to stop the initiator - apparently Murphy was at it behind play all night
