We've got a game
5.40 left until half time and Carlton only 3 goals down
Adelaide are goalless this quarter

Re: Early days bur the Blues are weak.
The Blues back half unravelled very quickly from centre bounce clearances to Adellaide.
Repeat entries in the 2nd eventually allowed MacKay and Curnow to get their hands on it but quick ball movement from half back to the F50 exposed Carlton's underbelly. This will not be lost on RTB.

Re: Early days bur the Blues are weak.
Adelaide are a bit of a mess: they frequently spoil each other and turn the ball over in dangerous spots.
But the Blues haven’t been able to capitalise: they are actually lucky to still be in the game. Most of their kicks towards their dangerous forwards are misdirected.
But I feel the Blues are a good chance to win this. They seem a lot fitter than the Crows.

I think the baggers run a lot but they aren't as fit as other teams, and they get caught out of breath. Or so it looks to me.
We should be able to run rings around them

The media continue to pump Carlton up like last year.
Most tip them for top four again.

Re: Early days bur the Blues are weak.
Fair cop: they aren’t looking likely now. They had plenty of opportunities inside 50 in the 3rd quarter, plus a bit of help from the umpys. But their attack keeps breaking down.Rubyjo wrote: ↑Thu 13 Apr 2023 10:48pmLol have another gomeher baba wrote: ↑Thu 13 Apr 2023 10:07pm Adelaide are a bit of a mess: they frequently spoil each other and turn the ball over in dangerous spots.

Soft and poorly coached. Made a big mistake when they didn't go for Lyon

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

The Crows and Carlton will be in the middle ring of teams as the season goes on, while the Saints will cement top position

Re: Early days bur the Blues are weak.
The Blues aren’t weak. But they are terribly one-paced and got shown up tonight by a side with some zip and energy. It’s all on Sam Walsh to play inside and outside. They have to win clearances otherwise they are absolutely r00ted as they get left for dead when the ball leaves the stoppage area.
Adelaide has a mid group that’s diverse and has a bit of pace and good footskills but still the grunt of Sloane.

I have no problem checking out the female form on the internet, but a Saints footy forum is not the right place. It’s not appropriate.Scollop wrote: ↑Thu 13 Apr 2023 10:05pmDon't look at her eyesWellardSaint wrote: ↑Thu 13 Apr 2023 9:57pm I can't look at Abbey Holmes on TV, she has eyes like an android

Re: Early days bur the Blues are weak.
The Blues have a soft underbelly - top 5 are pretty good and then they fall away
Keep in mind that they had the Brownlow & Coleman Medallists last year and still didn't make finals

Re: Early days bur the Blues are weak.
Looked average against the roos last week - got lots from the umps. They are soft like last year. Mentally weak players and no leadership
