Re: Votes v Suns
5. Owens - was the match winner with the clutch plays
4. Sinclair - consistently our best mid all night
3. Hill - pbly the most damaging mid. 2 goals and seemed to set up a bunch more
2. Higgins - 5 goals and very reliable. A handful all night
1. Crouch - seems ridiculous for 34 disposals… but he had 7 count it 7 touches to half time. Had 14d in each of the 3rd and 4th quarters and was easily the difference after half time.
Apologies…
Really loved Battle tonight. Was rock solid and took a lot of marks. Wilkie was Wilkie. NWM went up a level and Stocker is making a case for receipt of the year.

Re: Votes v Suns
Hardest position on the ground, small foward or tall forward?
5. Owen's, 27 possessions, 2 goals.
4. Higgins. 22 possessions, 5 goals
3. Marshall. Outstanding everywhere, even sitting on the bench
2. Sinclair. That's how you run.
1. Crouch. Outstanding in the third when we blew them away.
Apologies to many others

Re: Votes v Suns
5 - Wilkie, the half back line was imperious. They just kept repelling everything that was thrown their way led by Wilkie.
4 - Owens, we have a true warrior on our hands.
3 - Sinclair, just kept running and presenting all night.
2 - Stocker, another piece of that half back line that was impenetrable.
1 - Higgins, 5 goals is 5 goals.

1. Windy - for him running from behind halfway to get ahead of the ball, mark and kick straight for our first goal of the night.

We had many fine players but I am absolutely stupefied that several people here couldn't even fit Sinclair into their votes. I think many are taking him for granted as he plays such a high level every week.
As Luke Ball said on the ABC, he was far and away BOG . Some of his stats- 31 possessions, a massive 659 metres gained, 9 score assists, a goal.
He was largely responsible for turning the game on it's head when he was switched on to the ball when the Saints were 9 points behind and we know what happened from that point on- a 62 point turnaround.
