Feels like a game where we could smash them, or they could smash us… weird turnovers, flashes of speed and then stalemates.

Casbolt and king could tear us to shreds if they get going, but as the TV commentators are saying, we are also walking out of their defence at times. Weird

At the game - we are looking pretty flat.
NWM nowhere near it.

They're going to be difficult to beat. They are playing with a devil-may-care approach that is working quite well for them so far. They have blown lots of good opportunities in front of goal, and by rights should be 2 or 3 goals ahead. They have a height advantage in the backline which is worrying.

But I'm hoping we'll lift after a spray from Ross.

Ball looks like it must be made of soap! Can't get a clean possession. Probably worst quarter of the year for us with skills. Can only get better. Need to settle.

They should be well up - even with a flat start we haven’t gone way behind - let’s hope they warm up into the game!

Two skill errors - a bad kick and a dropped mark - gave them two goals. They use the ball too well to give them gifts.

At the moment, they are running better to the contest than we are. That has to change. They have more marking power up forward. We have virtually none. Not much we can do about that for a while.
