Re: Full pre game ceremony
It looks like you really enjoyed the 150 celebrations.

This to say least is a little disappointing, funnly enough Victor Cummberland who is in the AFL Hall of Fame cant get in the STK one. What about Geoff Cunningham , Aussie Jones and Justin Peckett??

Re: Full pre game ceremony
The jumper was awesome , is that better?? The song was s***! And instead of a night to celebrate the club HOF it was treated as a after thought ,a add on if you will and again to me in our 150th year that is disappointing. If you want to be a sheep and baar along with rest knock yourself out.But I have the right to point out things I dont likeKing Max wrote: ↑Mon 03 Apr 2023 2:42pm It looks like you really enjoyed the 150 celebrations.

Why, he has gone there to live for a while. You do understand that he married a Texas Gal, and yes wanted her sons to have an extended taste of USA life.
It was only a celebratory game after all.
Would you disrupt your life for a week just to attend such a game?

Thanks very much for sharing. A great night to be at the MCG...a credit to St Kilda on all fronts. Bob Murray...my favourite as a child. Such a gentleman. Any ideas on who was in the wheelchair pushed by Barry Breen? I suppose that is Big Carl at the 7 minute mark. Any ideas on who is he with? Each to their own, but I really enjoyed Dan Sultan's performance of the club song.

I really enjoyed it. Loved the whole experience, especially the game Thought it was far better than Essendon's effort last year where they had Dyson Heppel address the players on microphone.
Let's be honest. Wouldn't matter what we did some wouldn't be happy. I was absolutely stoked that we got to play in front of a finals type crowd as well and that plenty of saints supporters turned up. Made for a magnificent night.

Saw Big Carl on the ground but unfortunately he didn't rate a mention.Moods wrote: ↑Tue 04 Apr 2023 9:19am I really enjoyed it. Loved the whole experience, especially the game Thought it was far better than Essendon's effort last year where they had Dyson Heppel address the players on microphone.

Don't know if Robbie Muir was there.

There were a couple of wheelchairs. Neil Roberts who is 90, was in one. Maybe Verdun Howell was another.CorioSaint wrote: ↑Tue 04 Apr 2023 8:59amThanks very much for sharing. Geez...Breen walks n' talks like a man who hasn't been battered by age at all. Obviously, not young but he must have been on the vitamins. Could run for office, be CEO.
Maybe he could play in case Wood can't get up (pardon me) , this week?

You are right on both accounts. Who is standing between Murray and Smith?
