Getting killed at stoppage
Essendon have walked the ball out ridiculously easy
Since being 34-0
Essendon clearly on top

Lucky to be 3 goals up
Fumble Fumble Fumble Fumble
Getting smashed around the packs and on ground ball
Dopers always seem to have an out player and aren't making many mistakes

Re: Match Thread Saints v Dons Round 3 2023
Just got to keep the pressure
Forward line looks a little kick n hope just hope Higgins keeps kicking straight
At game and honestly Gresham just runs in circles abd kicks mongrels off his foot ….he’s got to get done composure
Owens trying hard
Wood good

Why do we have Jobe the drug cheat in the commentary team?
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

Continually butchers it and tries to do the low % kicks all the time. He is a senior player now that should have well and truly fixed that part of his game. Rarely sets an example for the younger players. Cost the team at least 2 goals in that first half.

Midfield flogged that quarter, and only one effective forward in Higgins. Need more forwards to step up, and more run in the midfield. We went to sleep that quarter.

Well, we're in front. Rowan Marshall is holding the team together. When he goes off for a rest, they get more of the ball. A number of players have slipped over and I thought I saw rain on one of the camera lenses. Is the roof open?

Re: Match Thread Saints v Dons Round 3 2023
The bad news: Essendon look to be a better team than us.
The good news: we're ahead by 18 points, a scoreline that flatters us TBH.
We're clearly struggling in the midfield without Steele. He's that important.
The forwards and backs are doing well: Phillipou has had a quiet one, but perhaps the second half will be different.
However, I think my prediction that we'll lose by 3-4 goals is still looking pretty likely. But we're an extremely fit bunch, so who knows?

Re: Match Thread Saints v Dons Round 3 2023
At game. Playing well but last kick into fifty is killing us. Poo getting double and triple teamed plus he is getting pushed off the ball. Shouldn’t be standing forward awaiting a bomb as he is getting owned.
Wood and Mitch Owens are killing it and our defence is fairly solid, Wilkie sincs battle Howard all playing well.
But it’s at kilda I expect to be over taken but fight back in the last

The Poo seems overawed playing at the G.
He's having a stinker, so far.

Turn overs
We have too many ball butchers
Especially forward of centre
Gresham is the worst kick in AFL
Just too many poor kicks!

Did Ross leave the G at quarter time and Richo volunteered to coach out the game, for old times sake, if not, how do we explain this crap we are watching.
