He has requested to put his contract aside to focus on his football.
Looks like he is keeping his side of the agreement.

looked much better last night. hopefully he sees the potential for our team going forward, but if home beckons i'd be hoping a certain youngster at the crows is of a similar mind and both clubs are onto it.

The boys need to get around him, make him feel like a king so he doesn’t want to leave!

Adelaide and Port will need to match a fairly good income and 5 years.
Given their recent rebuilds and the young talent they have poached and drafted, I'm not sure he would leave a Lyon structure that makes him pivotal, to go and find his spot in a new squad.

From the little I know he seems very happy, the club isn’t worried, and his manager is just after as many biccies as he can get

Re: Good time to sign Nasiah
I'd love to keep him. He's so slick by foot and makes fantastic decisions.
On the flip side, the compensation package to get him will need to be very strong. It would have to be significant upgrade on the pick used (11) to land him, given we've put in the development work.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

You can bet your balls we already name a significant offer. He hopefully believes he is worth a lot more.

Re: Good time to sign Nasiah
Great news.
A poster on BF is alleging that Bergman wants to come back home to St Kilda even if NWM stays. If true it would be nice to have decent players wanting to come to us for a change.

Re: Good time to sign Nasiah
How often would an early draft pick who is getting plenty of senior opportunity not re-sign this far into their contract if they intend to stay? I'd be surprised if he's at the saints next year

Re: Good time to sign Nasiah
If I was NWM I'd want to string a few game breaking performances in a row before signing up to a ripper contract. He has to be backing himself to improve dramatically and command a better contract. I wouldn't be surprised if we're lowballing him right now.

Who’s his manager? Send some hired goons over to his office to negotiate Nasiah’s contract! lol

You can SA connection in his ear
I’d be thinking compensation
After watching Horne Francis debacle I think first up contracts should be mandatory 3 years

Me? I would much prefer to accept what tony 74 says. After all he works for the club and is not some random internet poster.

Re: Good time to sign Nasiah
I think a compensation system like the free agent one, tied to the original draft pick and performance stats would work here.Teflon wrote: ↑Mon 27 Mar 2023 1:42pmThat’s my read toomad saint guy wrote: ↑Mon 27 Mar 2023 10:15am How often would an early draft pick who is getting plenty of senior opportunity not re-sign this far into their contract if they intend to stay? Would need some work to ensure it's not misused.
