Massive kudos to Lyon.
So underestimated.
479 test wickets. Likely to be the first orthodox off spinner to take 500.
Now 8th on the all time list. Only fast bowling greats and Warne and the chucker above him.

Forgot to add most wickets in India by a bowler from another country.
beginning to understand why Ashwin and Jadeja have bowling averages of 23. something and loads of wickets...Indian pitches.
meanwhile, Llyon has 31. something

Judging by the 2 reviews already its not just the umpires who have no idea what's going on out there
Glad to see you acknowledge that the maggots have NFI.
Never said they weren't making mistakes or having a shocker, just that the idea they're favouring one side or another accidently or deliberately is moronic.

They won’t get much publicity but Murphy tying up one end as he did and Carey behind the stumps both performed very well and were instrumental in the win
Now to see what type of deck they provide for the next match
We are thru to the Champions Match at Lords
Now for the practice match to deliver positives - which is the case at half time at least
As I have put, the best player on our List in No. 19

Starc, Head and Green in changed the balance

WTC final at The Oval a nice warm up for the Ashes in Pommie conditions. Just a week before the Ashes starts.
You about Loris? You heading over to the UK for the Ashes?
Travis Head's batting was sensational. Even his defensive shots are attacking. In his first iteration, his attacking shots were defensive - a very timid approach. His rebirth has been astounding and shows that basic talent is always subject to psychological pressure. He is easily our best batter at the moment because he scores and is consistent. Just what the selectors were thinking for the first test is anyone's guess. Both he and Camerson Green make an aging team look revitalised.
The change of Coach and Captain has given Head the licence to play to his strengths
How many games under Cummins captaincy has a Head innings been influential in the result, including on challenging pitches in Hobart and Brisbane, and now in India?
I was told by someone connected with Tea Tree Gully CC that, as a young school student, the sound of the ball off Head’s bat in the nets at Pertaringa was something they have never before or since heard
He was appointed SA Captain at just 20 years of age and took the side to successive Shield Finals, both lost
He and Carey are now near neighbours - on the other side of Adelaide to Tea Tree Gully

And so is the thlnking that the Indian Maggot didn't favour his home side.
The evidence was clear to anyone watching with both eyes
These guys lean towards Aussie lucky
They say the pitch is blatantly doctored - showing bounce variations of over a foot on the first day and massive spin angles

That’s blatantly wrong.
And you haven’t watched any sporting contest with both eyes open in decades.
