It’s the colloquial term for the glass pipe which is used to smoke one of the worst drugs in the world: Methamphetamine (aka “ice” here in Australia). As you may have heard, that stuff literally puts holes in people’s brains, hence why I used that metaphor for Iceman’s unpopular opinion.saynta wrote: ↑Sat 25 Feb 2023 12:54pmWTF is a glass BBQ?Sainternist wrote: ↑Sat 25 Feb 2023 2:55am Unpopular and also sounding like an opinion from someone who has been on the glass BBQ. But I mean, he does go
by the sobriquet “Iceman”

He’s had two bad games for the year.
This post has aged horribly. Explains why you had to wait 6 months for the bump to cherry pick a bad performance

A pretty miserable life you must lead if you wait six months to say "see, I was right, nahdy-nahdy-nah-nah".
The sound of crickets about his All-Australian selection, no doubt.

Even conceding that he was beaten on the day…
Has pbly been our best player this year along with Sinclair and Marshall.
All Australian too.
Shocking call. IMO worst of the year

Re: Unpopular opinion
He wasn’t beaten on the day
I think it was the right match up
Who else could play on toby?
NWM - nope
Battle - too loose and not agile/quick enough
Webster - cannot go with him aerially
Cordy - nope
Sinclair - nope
Toby was the one to negate
Unfortunately our mids got smashed and our pressure was not existent - so it didn’t matter anyway

Once again we miss the point
Toby didn’t do much
The ball coming in had zero pressure on it
Go check Steele Crouch etc tackle counts…..stuff all
They waltzed it out of our fed 50 as our smalls applied no pressure
Through the midfield with clean use/run and out plodding mids could t go with them or were brushed aside
Defence a sitting duck ffs
Why did Cordy look ok preceding weeks??? Cause our mids put pressure on the ball carrier ….he could defend
I was actually surprised, having watched us this year put ton’s pressure on sides, how un-switched in they looked ..and slow..
“Yeah….nah””

Re: Unpopular opinion
Dirty day for Cal but he still kept his direct opponent relatively quiet. Pre-game, the media was doing what they usually do and follow each other into an easy narrative. This time Toby was gonna beat us, when in reality the difference between us winning and losing was always gonna be the midfield.
Cal just didn't execute on a few moments where he left Greene to help out his mates. Says so much about him that he had one of his poorer games and kept Toby Greene quiet.
We're lucky to have the bloke.
