Thanks BM hopefully we will have more fit players for the intra club on Friday? We still have 14 on modified programs with 3 out long term (King, Hayes & Hotton), hopefully we can get the others back and firing before the season starts.

Still leaves 30 fit and firing players

So 30% of the list injured or on modified programs is good?

No, not good at all but still enough on the track. I never mentioned the word
"good".

Did they wear the 'black' and 'white' shirts like for Ratts?
(It used to be a pretty reliable indicator as to whether a player might be envisaged as firsts or seconds at that time.)

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Thanks for the training report B.M , appreciate the update.

Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

Maybe the old VFA - no wings

As ex-president Peter Summers said:

They can always top up with Sandy players if needed. So if they really wanted to do the real match sim, no problems.

This is why a stand alone reserves team wouldn’t work

On any given week we have up to a dozen unavailabilities

23 senior players
3 emergencies
8-12 unavailable through injury

Would leave between 8-12 reserves players

Requiring 10-14 top up players weekly

Was Coffield back to contact training...what stood out about him, Stocker and Nas to you?

A lot of teams seem to manage with stand alone reserves teams BM, can you please explain why we are different, I must be missing something

And yet other clubs in the AFL manage it fine….

As opposed to 14 sandringham players?

Bug bear of mine we need our own team with top up players as other clubs do. Idea is not to win the VFL rather play the StKilda players on the list where they need to play and with the game style we want , so the transition from VFL to AFL when injury occurs is more seamless.
I know money is a big problem behind not changing but surely the other AFL clubs haven't got it wrong.
Anyway i digress

With you there on alliance ..OS …

Gone to Sandringham a lot over the journey , it’s a disfunctional relationship because the diehard coterie still have
Melbourne connection, whilst absolutely rapt with RSEA ..the Frankston opportunity was there , same colours
City of Frankston was there, we just didn’t have money people prepared to be involved and went cheap option.
We have significantly improved in the money people in supporting club with Bassat ,for me it was a great opportunity
lost and draw players from Mornington Peninsula league to compliment the stand alone “ Frankston Saints “.

Thanks BM for the reports.
This place is quite good without the sniping

So I have a question about the inter club game,,,,,,,,,do the play first grade team against the rest or do they even up the sides.?
