Physio 3 x per week
Hydro 2 x per week
Followed by a Weights program
Surgeon told me straight out (after an ankle reco) once operated on, joint will never get back to what it was, no matter what, just a fact. It’s a joint that’s been broken, therefore compromised. There is scar tissue that develops and eventually arthritis.

Re: King
My wife had a hip replacement 2 years ago after years of discomfort.guitars4 wrote: ↑Mon 09 Jan 2023 10:49pm Just had my hip replaced , 2 months in & all going pretty good & surgeon expects me to be back to full mobility in 6 months & I'm 60. Obviously a hip is very different to a shoulder but Max is half my age & will have the best of the best rehab at his disposal so I'm bullish that he can make a full recovery pretty quickly .
Was jogging in 3 months and back running and doing F45 in 6 months.
She’s flying now.
Has to be careful with a couple of lateral movement exercises but has a great outcome overall.
Only regret is she didn’t do it sooner.
Good luck with yours!

I'll say this for you BM, sounds you won't give up until your absolutely sure you are done.B.M wrote: ↑Mon 09 Jan 2023 11:10pm Happy feet
Did your shoulder freeze at any point?
Mine was torture in recovery- sat out 2018 completely and then retired. I seem to have mobility but have lost power and confidence in my shoulder?
It was the third part of my body reconstructed (ankle and knee also)
It was the worst of the three and not much fun at all.
And that's just with the keyboard.
Forced retirement in your 40/50's (Im guessing) must have been tough.
