It's something new really didn't need, but we have options. Cordy goes to CHB and Battle goes to FF is one option.

Hayes may not be ready for round one. He did his knee in round 6 last year so it's unlikely the fitness team would risk him earlier than that in 2023.

For the first half a dozen rounds I'd got with Battle, Sharman, and Membrey as our three marking forwards.

Gold Coast lost Ben King for the season last year and they managed reasonably well. It's a challenge for us but it does give us the chance to get a really good look at other players in Max King's role.
