Pre season training
For those interested in watching training, the main training days are Monday and Friday, warm up @ 9.30 for a 10 am start!
At this stage RSEA park is the main venue.
I’ll be going down next week so will put up a report on here.

What do highly paid, full time, professional footballers do in terms of fulfilling their occupational responsibilities on the Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays?

Re: Pre season training
Battle had ankle surgery.
Will be doing rehab for a while before joining main training.
Gresh still on light duties.
Billings' back surgery in Sept means slow steady return

They’re training Wednesdays also but I asked which were the main training days!
These days there’s a lot of meetings!

Re: Pre season training
I reckon he was really stiff last year.
Was cutting up the VFL early in the season, but when elevated was sub or travelled as emergency and didn't play a game in a weekend.
Whether he's got it or not I don't know, but I do believe if you do not promote on form it can be very demoralizing for those at the lower level.
Hope he cuts it up in pre-season and gets a go run at it this year.

Who is Ronnie?
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

I thought Byrnes showed some good signs in 2021. I'm not writing him off yet.

Ross seems to have gained a few pounds. More the merrier.. at this stage.. (he can do no wrong) More worried about Hilly.

Re: Pre season training
Do we know what position he is competing for?
Seemed to lose a bit of confidence after his debut game in Adelaide (?) which seems long ago now, but not effort or enthusiasm.

Agreed. Personally I’m still a fan. Just think he needs to play more.
Not every develops in a strictly linear rate. Fingers he gets his share of opportunities

Re: Pre season training
I never got the impression that RL ever really gets all that stressed. I say this with no disrespect intended… IMO he has that balance between knowing it’s a job that he needs to and wants to try his hardest with and also that he’s ultimately coaching a game.WellardSaint wrote: ↑Mon 21 Nov 2022 7:09pmHe's a coach.shanegrambeau wrote: ↑Mon 21 Nov 2022 5:20pm Ross seems to have gained a few pounds. If RL is a stress head… he bloody hides it well. Seems to me that he would rarely have difficulty sleeping
