Any thoughts on how Sharman might go with Lyons mentoring? He's got the tools !

I would not include Seb in that group, IMO he has got the most out of his ability & 2 B&F's prove that. IMO the other 2 have talent probably more than Seb but they don't have the work rate ATM. Hopefully RTB can make a difference to their obvious ability

Butler has significantly more polish than McQualter.

McQualter was an honest toiler, but quite one-dimensional.
Mcqualter had exquisite skills, one of the best kicks in the side.
You’re definitely way overrating Mini’s skill set. In 09 he was a reliable set shot from 30 metres out and averaged close to a goal a game.

After that, he was barely in our best 22.

McQualter was a very neat kick, great hands - hard as a goats forehead!

Was limited physically - a bit small, a bit slow, not an elite runner.

This limited his output at AFL level and the roles he could play

At his best - a very good role player

A player who gives 100%, 100% of the time.
I also think D-Mac will flourish under Ross too
Yeah

100%

I also think he'll love Clark as a project, and Jack Hayes.
Hoping he takes a liking to Sharman and Connolly.

Suggesting Seb Ross hasn’t pushed himself to be the best player he can be suggests two things

1/ a clear underrating of his output over his career

2/ a definite lack of knowledge about how hard he works

Very ordinary post
