IMO he was a nice polite young poster. Some on here used to get stuck into him over his comments, not allowing for his youth. Yet he always accepted their opinions without any vitriol back.
I can still recall his posts when he was so excited about his mum giving birth to a sibling.
He was about 18 at that time, and if I recall correctly he was commencing a Communications course.

Attacks from the flanks in the media inevitable. “How dare they” kinda thing. Like when Blight was sacked. Some of the old guard and their ilk plowed into St Kilda and Butters for appointment of his mate that subsequently followed. It was all ‘too easy’ and inevitable.

What followed was St Kilda’s best run for thirty years, since Jeans and Stewart etc.,

I just don’t want to think about Ratts, trying his best to convince them to give him more time. I suspect Ratts would have done better if he was able to be a real boss and not beholden to ‘processes’ and ‘systems’, like that soccer coach mentor. Of course, I dont really know. Just a feeling I am sure I am not alone in feeling.
