This seems a common argument from those against the potential signing of RL.

In terms of statistics I'm not sure there is a large enough sample for it to be relevant, especially when you consider

1. Lots of coaches win more than 1 if they do and almost always in the same tenure.

2. 1 in 16+ win a flag each year.

I mean, the evidence shows we could go forwards and then backwards, as the players adjust to his "structure" ... as was the case at St Kilda first time around and then Freo (where he ended up with a 30% W/L last 4 years and was happily shown the door)?

AR and BR had a 50% W/L with us being an average team ... and they both had bad luck with injuries. That wasn't good enough for us.

RL better set the world on fire ... the way he is being feted. This site will go into melt down, if he doesn't.

The clubs standard (and performance culture) are at rock bottom after 11 years of irrelevance
Lyon (premiership or not) will change that , he’ll demand it

Solidly believe that a list makes a coach. I think that if Ross can get the most out of this list we are a genuine finals team. He is not going to take us from 10th to a premiership next year. He is not the messiah, I think most of us understand that, and can understand reservations.

I feel he can get more out of the list while we try to attract or draft the top end talent. I think I am mainly happy that the club has taken decisive action and will change up the club.
We are all sick of being an irrelevant also ran. Will this guarantee success? Can't tell, but doing what we had done guaranteed irrelevance I feel.
