Jarrod Brander 195 cm utility, pick no.13 in 2017 national drafthas been let go by GWS after being delisted a year earlier by Eagles. He caught my attention a couple years ago when playing for Eagles against us when he was very damaging on the half back line and popped up on the HF line as well. I noted him to be a good reader of the game, as in he kept getting where the ball was going. He was a strong mark and a real pain in the bum, from Saints point of view. What happened?!

I doubt Heath will be ready next year and its a huge ask of Hayes coming back from an ACL to be expected to play as an under sized 2nd ruckman. Thats why we tried to get Weideman or Schache in during the trade week?

A 20yo Kaelan Bradtke 196cm who plays forward/ruck might be an option, also Tyreece Leiu 194cm key position another.

I’d love us to draft in young Keeler from SA..looks a perfect Ryder replacement.
We’d need to get a little higher in the 2nd round to acheive this.

He’s that hybrid size..not big enough for a key position, also a bit passive!
