Cool -

Which St kilda premiership player came runner up in the VFA First Division goalkicking in 1973 (104 goals), and whom did he play for?

You would be 100% correct, Cowboy18.

In my refrence, Cooper is reffered to as "the youngest of the Brighton Coopers". Just a little side note for ya!

Your go.

We used to watch the saints on Saturday and Sandy on Sunday - some great times at Beach Oval (now better known as Trevor Barker Oval). Ian Cooper looked like an old man - great grab though.

My question - who were the 3 saints reported in the infamous "animals" game against Essendon in 1978?

And who did they hit? (All hitters and two out of three hittees will do - I can't remember the third!)

Was it Ditterich Sidebottom and Booth?

Neagle might have been one of the "victims".

I think we'll give that a pass given the need for some new blood and your location - Hopp Schwyz!

Terry Cahill was another one that was hit and the other may have been Simon Madden.

Your question CB.

Bump!

I'd hate for this thread to be lost amongst the navel-gazing, teeth-gnashing and infighting.

How about a "free for all next question is the question" event? Might distract some of those troubled souls on the forum from their thoughts of self harm.

It's going to be OK people. Look, there's a question below.

Hope I don't get in trouble for putting in a question out of turn.

Don't know if this has been asked or not but...

Which senior executive for an AFL sponsor played for St-Kilda?

Sorry guys, limited internet access at the moment.

I believe the answer to the question is Trevor O'Hoy at Fosters. He played reserves and was runner up in the Gardiner or Morrish medal.

No point me asking another question as I won't be online again for a while.

Who's Milan Faletic I hear you ask?
Played in the early 80's - winger or half forward?

Since he's away I might just jump in with a question. He can jump in with one when he returns.

In which year of the 90's did we miss the finals, yet managed to beat both eventual grand finalists that year?

and who were the sides.

Lets see -

1990 - we lost twice to both Collingwood and Essendon
1991 - made finals
1992 - made finals
1993 - we beat Carlton, but Essendon beat us twice
1994 - We beat Geelong once but lost twice to West Coast
1995 - We easily beat Geelong and famously crushed the Blues
1996 - We lost twice to North and to Carlton once
1997 - made finals
1998 - made finals
1999 - We split our 2 games with the Blues but failed against the Roos

So I'm saying it was 1995, ironically our worst year of the decade.
