He’d have folded like an accordion yesterday under that pressure. Slow and weak (up to this stage of his FIVE year 30 game career). How much longer do you persist with these players?? Billings is the ultimate example. 10 years later….
100% test the market with Clark.
Injuries or not, show me some results for once!
When is the last player to come in and play well from game 1?? Windhager showed enough consistently this year. Let’s see if he kicks on
WTF? Funny man! Someone is really sooking it up. Enjoy your life as a "what if". Have you analysed the recent premier's list? When they started on the list and their input? So Windhager & Owens have until the end of next year?

Try sookysaint as your next nic, champ.
They are 18 you drip.
Did ok this year.
Build and build and build. Was Lenny Hayes finding his way at 23?? Farrrk no. He was a gun by then.
Even when “fit”, Clark is unfit. No tank at all!!!
No awareness so then gets picked off.
Absolutely no qualms testing the market with him.
If he kicks on elsewhere then he can join the list of players we can’t get anything out of. Which then begs the question, wtf are we re-signing the same coaches for?
2-3 years with no improvement/stagnation. Ship em off.

God that is rubbish and a short memory
I 4 years you’ll be saying the same about Windhager and Owens if they don’t kick on!
You bet I will be.
No use having list clogger after list clogger and before you know it they are 26-29 year olds.
If midfielders aren’t producing by 23 then it’s time to go.
Key position players a fraction longer provided they show glimpses.
Sinclair couldn’t get a game in the first 8 rounds of 2020 as a 24 year old.
I do agree with you that they should be at least a regular contributor at that age, but players develop differently.
Sinclair always had the skills and I’m tipping finally got a rocket to get fit or he was close to getting the flick.
Maybe Clark needs the same thing.
Just comes across as so soft. No hard edge to him when playing. If he stays/trade falls through then he needs the riot act read to him.
Where is our Selwood, Daicos, Cripps at 18, 19, 20???
Long overdue. Someone a midfield can then be built around.

Soft.
Were you on Mars when McKay smashed his jaw?
And when he resumed and had his nose broken. Smashed into his face.
And still came back.
Apology to Hunter in order.
Soft? Slur is contemptible.

He may look laconic, slow and unfit at times throughout his career, but soft is not a word I’d associate with Hunter Clark.
Sinclair played a brand of footy that was not physical for many seasons. For the club and player himself to turn him into a gun AA with such a hard edge is remarkable.

Then why can’t this be drummed in at an earlier age?
This business of waiting waiting waiting is ridiculous.
Will be waiting another 150 years for a flag.
You watch WCE Draftees in the next few years propel then back up the ladder in no time whilst we wait for the same also rans to hit form at 29. No more excuses for anyone!!!
Enough!!

Yep, sookysaint. A very very stupid and narrow minded opinion of what it takes to become a very good AFL player. Just keep throwing them out. I guess Geelong's team are full of one and two year players, 19 & 20 year olds, all home grown, none who had any taste of previous senior AFL experience.
Who is worthy to be on St Kilda's list in your opinion? Besides Owen & Windhager.

The fact you call him "soft" says more about you and your credibility, you are a sook without credibility.

That was the year we were in the Noosa hub? I thought Sincs got a 3 yr extension at the end of that season?
A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.
Remember one of the 10 Commandments : Thou shalt have no other team before thee
With Seb Ross and Brad Crouch only around a few years and only playing at their best fir maybe 2 more, Jack should be offered whatever Essendon is offering and more

Must keep Bytel too

I don’t get the Bytel hype on here.
I don’t think he will make an AFL player.
Happy to be proven wrong.

He us another at Stkilda that need to be sat down and given some hard truths. He is not the worst -billings -
Talented but appears to be lazy or more in particular. Give the appearance that it will just happen.
I am not a Dangerfield fan. But wow ... that Grand Final . There was going to be no one and nothing standing between him and holding the premiership cup. Hell or high water.
There is few Stkilda players that show that desire (ex Steel)
Dont see it at all from Clark. Therefore I would ask him... do you actually want it?

Yep. Far too many happy to swim in their money pit that don’t have a killer instinct or incapable of producing that regularly.
Riot act should be read regularly.
Professional sport demands excellence.
I feel there are no consequences for not producing.
6-7 years meandering through on 400k plus.
Thanks for coming.
You can't blame Clark for his injuries ..unless he is unfit and there fore a bit slow ..if you are not muscle bound and super fit you are going to get injured..a split second unfit will kill you in Afl one of the most brutal fastest games going around .
One touch, dual sided, great evasive skills - what is missing? A sense of urgency perhaps, or maybe he is all slow twitch muscle fibre and has no speed?
His kicking too often is hit or miss - tends to lay back on the kick, but why would we trade him? If he has shown no desire to work on his deficiencies- fair enough, is this the case?
the invisible and the non existent look very much alike

Dual post just to emphasise - or maybe an error?

I would say that it was merely a post so good that it was worth reading twice
A good coach could draw it out of Clarke
Raise expectations- you can hate him all you want but you know “he who can not be named” was the last senior coach to demand that from a Saints playing list and drag us into a GF back to back
