Jason Horne-Francis
It's probably just another media furphy but Gerard Whately on SEN this morning claims to have received reports from 2 separate sources that Jason Hiorne Francis is going to request a trade to St Kilda.
As unlikely as that may seem, it is not totally ridiculous because If JHF does indeed wish to leave North, as was widely reported a long time ago, he could well end up at Moorabbin.
The same station is continuing on with the unconfirmed reports that Hunter Clark is likely to go to North Melbourne for a deal that also involves North's future 2nd RDP.
All of this will soon be revealed with the trade period commencing on Monday 3 October - bring it on!!

Re: Jason Horne-Francis
Knowing our luck, he’d come take the easy cash and then walk to the club of his choice in Adelaide just as he’s reaching his peak.

Yes there was someone on Facebook a few days back (so huge grain of salt) claiming that he had direct knowledge that JHF was very keen to join the Saints, wanted to leave North but did not want to go back to Adelaide. That is he enjoys living in Melbourne, but want out of North.
I have been scanning the media since hoping it had some substance. Today's report being the first such.
With Hill keen to go to North we do have some trade capital to make it happen.

Re: Jason Horne-Francis
Gotta love all the rumours with no substance. Hill going has merit as he is not a good fit for us at present. Not worth the money we pay him and Alistair will know how to get the best out of him. Hunter going is based on what? He seemed happy at Moorabbin and if he wasn't so unlucky he would have had a better run this year. Gym and pre season will make next year awesome. But I am guessing if we trade those two played we will want something great back hence this rumour.
But it would be
But it would be

Just goes to show you can make up any old BS and if the AFL media gets wind of it, they will milk it for all it’s worth.

Just watched the clip it came from and it’s just texts the station gets through from regular people, wasn’t anyone he actually knew and was just putting it out there.

Re: Jason Horne-Francis
It's definitely nuffy season but I do find it strange that Horne-Francis hasn't nominated the Crows or Port yet. Also, the fact we're letting Hunter go while still under contract is pretty bizarre. Something is afoot, though it could just be our famous incompetence.

Re: Jason Horne-Francis
Not a hope in hell IMO.
But hypothetically, what gets it done?
#8 + Clark + Hill
Horne-Francis + 2nd round & 3rd round 2023?
I don’t think they have second or 3rd round picks in 2022.

Is he? I wasn’t sure.
I know his Step Dad is Fabian Francis but didn’t know if he himself was indigenous.

Re: Jason Horne-Francis
Long bow BM racist is a big call . No doubt there has been & there still is racism at all clubs . IMO only lets wait & see what the AFL 's investigation finds out before we point the finger
