I like the social conscience of the Saints. The Pies have a sad legacy in that regard. I am prepared to take a pay cut to wear the RW&B, I find often having those colours around me results in me kicking goals. I would like to feel morally superior for once. Actually I approached the Saints.

The sticking point is the Pies play exciting football, are in the finals and cannot lose a close game and its fun this year with Bucks and his sermon style gone.
Can I think about it a while longer. And the club is so big, I am guaranteed a job/career post footy. Can I think about it a while longer.

And getting those Daicos boys to kick to me. Those Saints mids are good, but sometimes, through no fault of their own, miss targets. Well often, and it is their fault, but they try.

Interesting...seems some have their hearts set on the Goey and are prepared to make up their own stats. One has a Premiership medal, the other has a full passport of travel highlights.

Pies are well ahead of us and as of today they will probably play finals the next few yrs but us are pretty much unknown future with the list changes that are going on …..if i was him take whatever they offer and play finals …. If he comes to us for more money were screwed cause it’s only for retirement money or there’s an injury being hidden

Well after watching the Cats/Geelong Final tonight, how could you not want DG in the RWB next year?

He is exactly the type of player that we so sorely lack.

What I said earlier.
Our club is frickin cursed.
We can't develop players.
We'll never be in that group of Tigers/Pies/Cats and now Doggies and Dees.
We can't do what they do.
We import players in the hope they will bring some extra culture or something, but they only drop their standards to the lowest possible.

The only recent one who is actually better than he was at his old club, is Crouch.

Ratts, early this year or last year, got the imports to front the squad and open up on 'what did your previous club think of StKFC?'
And the responses were scathing.
We ain't got respect, and the imports don't think we deserve respect either.
You can see it in the way they let a team like Essendon roll us.

They don't bloody care about the jumper, they look at their lockers and the names- there's only a few Brownlow Medallists there, and fewer premiership names.
There's a real lack of proud history.
Why should they care?
It's an income, pure and simple.
