AFLW Does anyone really care?

As I write this there is a team representing the StKilda Football club playing , yet there is no live thread going.

So the question I ask is does anyone give a s*** about the AFLW

Too busy making Bunnings shareholders wealthier and preparing the vegie patches to be honest. I admit to having as much interest in AFLW as I do in the BBL, about none. Also too busy watching young pacers preparing for the big races across the ditch.

Commentators suck though, they're definitely barracking for Sydney.

Our tackling has been fabulous tonight. We lead the tackle count 41 to 19. Now up 7.5 to 3.1 early in the last . Kate Shierlaw looking great up forward. Georgia Patrikios getting a lot of the footy in her first game back, but she ( as with all the players ) is struggling to find space on the tiny North Sydney Oval.

I'm not a big fan of watching AFLW but I have no problem with those that do or with the AFLW comp in general. I hope the girls do well because they are a genuine part of the St.Kilda Football Club I just don't like to watch it .

Watched the whole game and thought the skills were better than previous years. It will definitely improve in the coming years with kids who have played their whole life coming through. It gives my daughter (12) something to look up to and us something to watch together so I'm in.

I am still fascinated by the fact so many women want to play AFL, and intrigued by the wide range of body types and how hard at it they are.

I will never understand women. Product of stereotype brainwashing.

Its (AFLW) great for the game and every supporter will care if they become more competitive and win a flag.
