Don’t be a friggin idiot. He could do anything and get away with whatever he wanted to and everyone would still always love Lenny.Vortex wrote: ↑Tue 16 Aug 2022 7:00pmPoor Bugger, I feel sorry for him already, it won't be long before the sack everyone brigade are hating on him.

Re: Lenny approached over coaching role
Personally I’m rapt with this...
The thing that stood out with Lenny in addition to his toughness was his work rate in combination with his attention to detail.
Knowing how hard he worked on field and how rough he played inside the trenches, it’s seemingly a miracle that he didn’t miss more games through injury... except it wasn’t a miracle.
Lenny attended every rehab session, perfected his technique, was meticulous with warm up/warm down, ate everything he was meant to and nothing that he wasn’t etc etc
Everything about him was completely driven... and it’s really hard to see him not doing well if he brings that to coaching.
More than anything else though, I really hope he instills a bit of that drive into the playing group. Personally, that’s what I think we’re missing the most

I already don't like his game plan.Scollop wrote: ↑Tue 16 Aug 2022 7:54pmDon’t be a friggin idiot. I would hope Hayes stays well clear of this site

Re: Lenny approached over coaching role
Don't think it's all Lade unfortunately. It's the "game plan" also. Chaos ball forward which usually ends up on Kings head. Not sure how your supposed to train your forwards for that? Hopefully Lenny can instill some actual clean transitional forward movement from our midfield group. Lenny was a decent kick, not great. Think Steele, Windy etc will thrive under him.

Noble well regarded at Adelaide as their football manager
With lethlean moving to the top job why not offer him the footy manager role . He’ll likely be an even better footy manager now having been through the coaching experience first hand.

Maybe he can have some one-on-one sessions with Brad Hill

Re: Lenny approached over coaching role
Long time lurker, first time poster.
I’m not sure why I continue to come to this site, with its constant baiting, bickering, sledging and hateful dialogue. Don’t y’all ever get sick of it? It’s pretty childish!
Y’all are supposed to support the same club.
Anyway, in regards to this thread, I think having one of all time favorite sons back at the club will be fantastic. He was part of our last successful period as well as
“not so successful “ periods, but has an understanding of the place, has been away long enough and will bring in some fresh new eyes.
Just to finish off. This place would be some much more enjoyable without the constant B Sh?t between certain individuals Have a great night and keep it classy

Re: Lenny approached over coaching role
I reckon Lenny would be more comfortable & have a much better time hanging out with me than you. People who think they are better than others because they have had a privileged life or have money don't impress me & you come across as that sort of bloke . And yeah you don't
