Carlton want Acres

It’s a real shame that we pretty much ‘dumped’ Blake (we didn’t value him enough) and got totally reamed in the Hill trade

It’s simple, and I’m telling you

He is about 70% of the fitness he was at Freo

I’d go as far as saying he is carrying excess weight in the midrift!

Can we do the reverse trade with Freo

Give us back our picks and Acres and we’ll give you Hill

Piss him off. Not worth 900k a year. Trade him to NM.

It's the area above and to the left of midriff that is the greatest problem!

Let's hope Clarko really wants him and is willing to deal, fairly.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

His form has been up & down the occasional fantastic game but way too many like last weekend. If we trade him we will have to pay part of his salary for sure & I'm unsure if he will have too many interested in services for the money he would want. But if he has put his hand up he obviously isn't happy at St.Kilda & who could blame him

Is this the same Hawthorn influence that won 4 Premierships?

Have you ever stopped to think that the problem lies elsewhere?

If I was on $800 or $900 K per annum, I'd be eating lobster and oysters weekly as well as the other good stuff like scallops, King Prawns and the like

Shellfish is natural viagra and rich in cholesterol and fat (so pretty high in calories). But it's good fat like omega-3 and not as bad as saturated fats (although the mornay needs a fair amount of butter   )

I'd also be washing it down with some nice pinot gris or some cold beers...

I mean, c'mon. He's earnt it hasn't he? A hard earned thirst needs a big cold beer...

We were desperate to look like a "destination club" - whatever the hell that means. So we payed overs. Same way we were happy to pay whatever it took to get Hanners. So we became the perfect destination for any player that wanted a fat paycheck in return for doing f-all.

If Brad is unhappy and wants out he will need to be quite pragmatic about his contract and perhaps take somewhat of a haircut to move and be happy.

I can’t see he is the type of player to make an impact at Nth Melbourne. Perhaps Geelong, Richmond, Collingwood might suit but they’d be expecting to pay 60% of the contract he’s reportedly on at StKilda.

If Lenny Hayes definitely comes will that make our club attractive to midfielders dlfrom other clubs? The man is greatly admired by every young player in the game and if I was a midfielder looking for a new home, the thought of being coached by Lenny would be very appealing indeed

Lenny last played in 2014

That’s 8 years ago

Most young players were only 10-12 at that time

They’d barely remember him

I never eat anything that is cold before it is dead and hate all those seafoods. I put them in the same catergory as snakes, lizards, fish, worms, mornay eels and turtles. Yuk, sick making just thinking about eating that crap.

I also dig all the prawns out of the special fried rice and feed them to our dog. About all they are good for. You do know that prawns are s*** eaters. don't you? Natures cleaners as are oysters.

I remember a member of the NSW water police once telling me that they got a good feed of prawns off a dead body that they dragged out of Sydney harbour.

And I don't drink alcohol either, so a good ginger beer would be about my style.

We had some beautiful prawns and oysters last night washed down with some white wine, but we all have our preferences.

You lot carrying on about his paycheck miss the point.
And justifying it is nonsense.

AFL pays
Cookie crumbles the way the cookie crumbles.
Ask Hanners.

Excellent player...but I really suspect our lot was a real step down for him...

I agree, he was trying...trying to try..but I wonder if his heart was desperate.

Awkward situation...Bad messages...i.e deliberate strategy to involve him, etc.,

Tactic of using him to switch play with lightening reflexes and rapid fingers was a sound one..

But yes. Some of those wee passes just didn't have the 100% effort ..

Pretty hard for him.

How you excuse and defend others in the team, because 'they are good blokes' etc., no idea...

Still think he is in top 10 players in team, but was top 5.

And if he is wanting to go, that's confirmation..don't blame him..rock and a hard place..go.

We look like amateurs..fair dinkum. And Hill knew it sometimes..couldn't hide it.

Of course, no idea of inside story. But few do I would guess.

I saw him back away from scrums, but I thought that was his role, to collect a punch out and run...not to jump into the sandwich and hold.

A totally different case than Hanners. Hill presented and had a go. hanners, well we just can't judge him at all, a total joke from start to finish. I hope he has a blinder tomorrow. Hope they both do.

Has improved St Kilda, as his own stocks have fallen.

Curve ball to this could be if North keep Goldy or not. Xerri wants to ruck more but if Goldy stays not sure how that works.

Part of me says if they do trade Hill get an early second rounder and add to talent pool .

Clarko on On the Couch admitting that he'd spoken to some players from other clubs and "Hilly would look good in blue and white" then adding that a lot of such deals are done before trade week makes me think Hill is gone.

HIll's mate Ryder retiring would make it easier to move, too.

Methinks it would be good for both clubs.

For whatever reason St kilda has been unable to get the best out of him.
