King's goal kicking within 30m, put simply, is an absolute disgrace

Sherman was making space for him, when Max should've been making space for Sharman. As it stands now Sharman should start the preseason ad the No.1 banana Max no.2.

I'd prefer Sharman at FF and Max at CHF

Totally disagree.
Cameron was cutting him to ribbons.
Paton kept him quiet and Jones had best game in 2 years.
Webster hasn’t had 4 kicked on him in years.
???
There’s always an excuse, and couldn’t blame the umpires/travel/break between games tonight, but gotta blame something!

King needs to be put on a 42 meals a day , weight training and goal kicking practice over summer …gets pushed out of the play too easily

If King kicks those goals we win ,too many demons in his head need to sort it out or there will be another wasted pick IMO

He should be dropped next week and I don’t care if we have no-one to come in.
I've been a massive Max supporter but tonight yeah I'm wrong
I still am and I still think he will be a gun but if a player costs us a win like he did tonight, he should be out next week.
He will be a gun. So do we develop him or dump him
I’m more for the latter .. give him some confidence and get him kicking straight..get Lockett down to the club
Good idea. Imagine the WTF! look on Plugger's face when he saw King's goal kicking routine.

The coach that made the call to fire Lloyd as goal kicking coach for King should walk.

Was going to say uo there with all time classic bad calls....
Then realised which team it came from.

It's criminal negligence. Max's shonky technique continues to cost us -- and him.

No one dares correct him because ... what? He might feel bad?

He's also thin as a rake. No one gets him on a proper diet and fitness regime because ... what? It's up to players to decide what they do and eat?

Who's running the show? Timid Watson?

Needs to spend the entire summer on his goal-kicking.

Ratten is clueless

Every question in the presser was about King

He needed to defend him but the saints clearly do not have a good coach for King

But everyone can see he has issues with his routine

Cut the ball spinning
Head over the ball
Drop the ball low
Dont lean back when kicking
Kick through the ball
no stabbing at the ball
Dont over kick the ball

King breaks every single rule

took my nephew to his first footy game. he's a soccer player but moved to uni to study. he actually enjoyed the game (i guess it was exhilarating to someone grown up on a league atmosphere) and now knows exactly what's ahead if he becomes a saints supporter. so all in all a pass i guess. but after kings third miss he turned to me and said - that bloke's naff. need to get him off. i told him that there is our superstar. our ticket to the big time. so now he absolutely knows what's ahead. more pain. forever.

Now I've actually got my head in to a space where I can actually make an informed rational comment . We gave it a crack probably should have won but hey we are St.Kilda but on reflection even if we had won & by some miracle we made the 8 we are not ready IMO

What’s Ratten on about.

All of Kings goals missed by a long way but his technique is fine.
