No improvement in 10 years.
Think of me long enough to make a memory.

Yep, we are playing a team that has played finals in the last 3 years and accept we are just not good enough.Banger9798 wrote: ↑Fri 12 Aug 2022 9:55pmThe effort is there but just not good enough
What I can't accept is the diatribe from so called Saints supporters on this forum. So, goodnight from me. And keep up the pressure boys, things will turn.

We have been worked out in 2nd half of season.
We got away with the game style early in the year. But have no Plan B. Forward line structure is a shambles.

I disagree.
They keep getting better and better at disappointing me.

How is it a diatribe to concede the fact that Lions are a better side?

Very interesting, Cameron gave Webster the hammy he was praying for, then got gifted a bloke who had "no body contact" written in his contract.
Muppets on here will still moan about Paton though, clever.

I thought Kermit's comments were quite succinct.Ghost Like wrote: ↑Fri 12 Aug 2022 10:06pmMuppets on here will still moan about Paton though, clever.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Re: Match Thread Saints v Lions Round 22 2022
Here’s what makes me question the coaching…
Our attempts at zoning is terrible. Teams cut through it and frequently find free players
Our structure is terrible.
Not that King gets a pass per’se but it really feels like we’re going out of our way to make him look bad. There is absolutely nothing that works to his advantage… every pass is climb over two or three
Ball movement has been covered
We just have no aggression with the ball. Our moves are kick short or bomb to a pack with no in between. Why can’t we run the ball?

They need to throw caution to the winds and just run the footy at all times. No stopping and bulls*** sideway kicks. The season is over anyway
Need long to keep hurting them

I understand that we don't have their talent but we should be able to match their effort & IMO that is not the case ATM . Lets get a bit daring take the game on we will lose anyway so just give it a crack
