To think we resigned Ratten only weeks ago and are going to have to put up with this crap for the next couple of years.
Yep
2 more years of can’t transition the ball
Shiitehouse forward line set up
I actually think we have a decent forward line mix they just are crying out for a smart tactical plan to help them work together
Blame the Board - they’re-signed Ratten long before the Carlton game instead of saying let’s see how back end of the season goes Brett
Weak as pus
Maybe trade the once in a generation forward for 2 top 10 picks and 2 second round picks and we’ll throw in a set of steak knifes that we’ve taken out of leathers back

Look how Geelong move the ball down the ground, then look at us.
Look how Geelong deliver the ball inside 50, then look at us.
Ratts should take note.
Exactly but I'm not sure anymore whether our coach 'gets it'. Week after week we play the complete opposite.
Went to the Melb and Pies game last night with family friends and honestly we are a rabble in the way our team has developed.
The worst part is, a few years back, we actually were ahead of these two teams.
Really?? Melbourne played off in a prelim in 2019. Collingwood narrowly lost a Grand Final in 2018. How we were ahead??
Scollop, we were beating both these teams when Richardson was coach.
Your point about Melbourne playing off in a prelim in 2019, Collingwood narrowly losing the GF in 2018 and of course Melb winning the GF in 2021, with Collingwood now a good chance to win it again in 2022, just magnifies how pathetic we have been in building a list/team to challenge for a flag, since our 2010 GF loss.
We have been in footy wilderness, so to speak, for 12 years now.
If there is ever a time for this under achieving club to finally stand up and partially salvage another disappointing season, it's tonight!
You lost me when you mentioned Richardson
Big deal if we beat them in h&a. We also beat Richmond by a record score in 2017
Richardson was ONLY a reference to those years from 2013 when he was coach. Nothing to do with his inept coaching. Surely you understood that?
I'm making the point that there WAS a period that we actually were beating Melb and the Pies. Our list has gone nowhere since, in terms of challenging for a GF.
We are still a rabble. Both coaches and our football department have not progressed this club where it counts, in a decade of football.
Tonight is a further example of how far off the club continues to be.
