He probably needs a rest. His last two games were not that flash, and possibly his worst two of the year.

His last 4 games in a row was his equal longest playing sequence for the year. So he was due for a week off.
He did not play in Rounds 4, 8, 13 and 16. Looking at that they may well have rested him last week, but played him as it was going into his 350th.

Cats have been manging him all season. Why would they be any different now?
