Votes v Hawks

Post: # 1971483Post George27 »

5. Rowan Marshall. Huge game by the big man.

4. Brad Crouch.

3. Jack Steele.

2. Seb Ross.

1. Dan Hannebery.

I thought Mich Owens and Cooper Sharman showed quite a bit tonight . I could not find a vote for a forward. Max , if he had kicked straight… but he didn’t .

I think Crouch has limitations and can't become A grade.
But I don't think he's at fault in any of our bad performances.
The fault is with the entire group.

Yes, I believe he's been a really valuable pick-up, and will keep getting picked.
One day, he'll end up being fringe when some of our young recruits develop and put pressure on him.
But meanwhile, he gets my vote for being a definite best 22

I'm sure he'll sleep well tonight with that knowledge.

Brad Crouch is a GREAT player - excellent inside midfielder

As a FA he was a more than valuable pick up - we have up Sweet FA to secure him

And because he likes the nose beers we got him cheaper than his worth to boot!!!

Nice 👍

Good call mate. He is one of the hardest workers in the team and equal to Steele when it comes to his tackle numbers but Crouch is a turnover merchant by foot.

I lost count of how many times he gave the footy back to Hawthorn. Either with a dumb kick or an errant kick out of bounds on the full or a wasted shot at goal which was next to no chance at going through for a major. I understand he is an inside mid and he needs to dispose of it under pressure, but I 'd prefer he look to handball to a team mate

5 Marshall (one of his best but has two flaws to iron out)
4 Crouch (an amazing 9 tackles too half time)
3 Steele ('nuff said)
2 Hannerbery (banged up like a champion racehorse but produces a first-up performance like that! And courage by the truckload)
1 Membrey (just because he busts his gut)

Because Crouch wins so much of his footy contested and under extreme pressure - expectations of high kicking efficiency are a bit much?

We don't need high

We just need respectable or average

His disposal efficiency yesterday was 56.7%. Even Jade Gresham's average is better
