Byrnes?
Sharman?

If you are going younger.

Leinert seems to be on the outer after performing favorably in the early part of the season.

Bytel should be in the starting 22

St Kilda should never trade with Essendon and Sydney ever again!!!

We need to see if Bytel can play though, so I’d be tempted to give him a shot.

Play anyone who is prepared to put a bit more effort into winning contests against their direct opponent, and doing second and third effort. We seem to have a few players with big heads who don't like the tough stuff.

I'd like to see Billings and Hill swap positions. Billings HFB and Hill HFF. Reckon they suit these roles better. Would allow Billings to read the game and in tangent with Sinclair, give us some footy smarts off the backline and Hill has shown more forward the back this year. Worth a try for a few games. And Gresh stays forward. He's not a midfielder.

Hanners more fragile than a crystal in a hurricane, Bytel 1 game back after foot injury and 70% VFL time - surely neither of these are conditioned for an AFL game yet. McKenzie missed over a month of footy so VFL needed also.
Can't go back to the GT time where playing injured players may have cost us a flag - Maguire, Ball, Hamill, Kosi.

Had the pain of watching WC live yesterday, They looked flashy at best and poor and broken at worst.

If Hanners does not play now, he never will.

This week reminds me of before the Essendon game …….should win and boost percentage….but we know what has happened since. I agree with BM we need to field the best 22 , hopefully fully fit

I presume they won’t be playing at all if they aren’t passed as fit.

If they are passed as fit for Sandringham, they are fit for seniors afaiac.

We can’t afford to give players such as McKenzie and Clark (admittedly I don’t know how far off they are from a medical viewpoint) a chance to regain touch. We’re in a sudden death situation.

If they get injured - which, incidentally, can also happen at Sandringham - they will have until next season to recover.

Just saw i put Brynes in twice. With Clark likely fit he comes in then.
Hopefully Hanners and Bytel get through a full VFL game and can push for the week after

If there were two Byrnes he might be a half decent player

If Jones isn't playing Zebs this week, our coach and selection panel are pathetic!!

I'd like to see a clear and simple gameplan - let's have inside players and outside players. And let's make sure they all know which is which.

He has gone backwards.
He started off looking quite promising....then we developed him

Need to replace Paddy. Rowan is not going well enough to ruck all day by his lonesome (?)
Higgins and Butler must have used up their trust cards
Webster must be wobbly as Paton has been dropped once and there is not a lot between them.
Byrnes doesn't seem to bring much. Jones must go.
Seb and Windhager and Hannebery have to come in. (Hannebery to catch up with sister if nothing else).
Hill will get a game because he will have space and knows the ground. Billings stays because he is marginally better than Butler and Higgins - can take the occasional mark.

Paton Highmore Wilkie
Sinclair Battle Clark
NWM Crouch Wood
Hill Membrey Windhager
Sharman King Gresham

Marshall Steele Ross
ic Campbell, Long, Billings, Hannebery
emerg/medi sub: Leinert

Have to hope Kennedy is sore and Darling still slow. T. Kelly to continue an underwhelming year, please.

That's 5 outs I think. Ins: Ross, Clark, Windhager, Hannebery, Campbell. Hope that adds up.

Good effort.

That team would be lucky to make the top 8.

Oh, they're not in it. Not so surprising really.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
