Windy and McKenzie play over Wood and Byrnes reckon we win.
That’s how bad those two were tonight.

Yeah the dogs probably relaxed a bit in the last
But what's the bet after Ratten left the 3/4 time huddle the players agreed amongst themselves just to play attacking footy and do what comes naturally

Re: Match Thread Saints v Bulldogs Round 18 2022
I thought Wood was better than most which wasn't hard but IMO only
Re: Match Thread Saints v Bulldogs Round 18 2022
I think Wood put more effort in than Gresham, Butler, Hill and Higgins combined. Amazing how players reputations get them brownie points.
Re: Match Thread Saints v Bulldogs Round 18 2022
Owen's and Windhager will form the best midfield in a few years but it's time for Sinclair to join them. Apart from Steele we can't rely on the others. Clearly Sinclair is a mid. Gresham is a small forward pinching in the midfield. Don't like it Gresham, prove me wrong. Bont was a class above all.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Bulldogs Round 18 2022
Might be ahead in 'effort' but tonight Wood missed more entries than a blind gigolo.
Re: Match Thread Saints v Bulldogs Round 18 2022
I'd rather a blind gigolo than someone that can see the opposition but chooses not to tackle

Re: Match Thread Saints v Bulldogs Round 18 2022
How many times did we just let them waltz it out? A few I'd say. What happened to actually manning each player and making it a one on one contest instead of letting them have free reign? And that's every week.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

Apparently that’s just player skill level..Jacks Back wrote: ↑Sat 16 Jul 2022 1:12amHow many times did we just let them waltz it out? A few I'd say. What happened to actually manning each player and making it a one on one contest instead of letting them have free reign? And that's every week.

We won't re sign him
He'll get pre season drafted to someone like Richmond or Geelong where he'll have a season from nowhere and bob up in the finals
Mark it down.

These Friday Night games are like St Kilda FC and the AFL have got together to devise a plan to spoil every Saint supporters weekend.
