Imagine the rebound skill and delivery forward of a fit and firing Clark, Amon, Sinclair, Hill & NWM, McKenzie off half back wing.

No, De Goey is trouble with a capital T. We don't need an 18 year old in a 26 year old body and trust me, one of these days his antics that some people say are none of our business will cause serious trouble for him and whichever club he is playing for.
In 10 years time he'll be working a menial job, broke and still trying to be 18 years old.

Large claims considering he has just started developing 3 properties in the Brighton area and is looking to establish a property development company alongside his father. He could be a bit of a distraction and have off field issues and not help us much and we’d be no better off

He could clean it up and be the difference between a top 4 team and an 8-12th team


Imo he is a potential star, not at the level as Martin and Petracca but he plays in a similar way.

Add him to our current team - we’d be 1-2 goals better

If De Goey contracts to the Saints, it MUST include watertight and strict terms concerning his performance, fitness and off-field behaviour. The Saints can't afford to blow another recruiting contract, e.g. Hannebery. We will be cooked if we blow this!
