Prediction:
I predict I will switch off at half time in each match, when we have had had 1/2 the inside 50s of the other side, for 1/4 of the score

Dogs might be worse than us to be honest.
If we play four quarters tomorrow we have every chance.

Re: Next 4 games
In current form I honestly can't see us winning any more than 2 games for the rest of the season & even then I would not be surprised if we didn't win any at all . Pessimistic yes reality not so sure . I hope they prove me wrong watch this space

Re: Next 4 games
In 2019 and 2021 we were worse than we are this season, but we still managed to win three & five wins respectively deep in the back half of the season.bangaulegend wrote: ↑Thu 30 Jun 2022 11:12pm In current form I honestly can't see us winning any more than 2 games for the rest of the season & even then I would not be surprised if we didn't win any at all . If we win three more like we did in 2019 - that gives us 11 wins, five more like last season, gives us 13 wins.
I think we are a real chance against a very inexperienced team tomorrow night, so long as we turn up and play four quarters, but even if we don't I think we win 12 this year anyway.

Re: Next 4 games
Probably only three teams we would be likely to beat and we only play one of them. We are presently a fairly poor team with a tough drawer so our chances of finals went out the door with the Bombers game. A lot of changes will be needed at seasons end to give us a look in next year, these changes will have to be across the board as we are not making the best of what is an average list. It will be a big task as available established players prefer to go to more successful clubs and going to the draft will take time and a fair bit of luck.

There is no coming back from what we have seen in the last month
Prepare for disappointment
Something has changed dramatically within the club
I can just feel it
Time to look to other pursuits. Fishing surfing etc
Maybe even knitting

We may not win tomorrow night, although we are a reasonable chance, but I think we'll beat Fremantle, and the Dogs seem to be worse this year than we are.
The last two weeks have been very poor, yes, but form can turn around.
The focus on how poor we have been in the media this week means that our players must respond, or they'll face further scrutiny. There has even been anger in some quarters about inaccurate reporting of the goings on at the club. I have faith that we'll see a response tomorrow night.

I hope you’re right but I suspect that the loss to Sydney will see the arse fall out of the club. Just like that loss to Hawthorn in 1998 after we led by over 60 points. It took us years to get over it and potentially the Sydney loss could do the same damagesamuraisaint wrote: ↑Fri 01 Jul 2022 12:15amThat's a bold statement.SunnyErnie wrote: ↑Thu 30 Jun 2022 11:58pmWe will not win another game this yearWayne42 wrote: ↑Mon 27 Jun 2022 8:51pm The Saints next 4 games are..

Saying delivery to King has been hopeless.
And other stuff, but he's made King his favourite.
King won't run and lead, he makes little effort and no second efforts, and believes his own publicity. He's up himself and Ratts is spoiling him.
The other guys don't feel valued- just like a lead singer in a band who gets all the publicity and the chicks.
The guys think they're the guitarists and drummer

Now he's lost the players.
Every single meeting he has with the squad, he should have his Golden Child King up on stage next to him.
King isn't part of the team now.
He's officially the star attraction.
The only way to fix this is tell King, in front of the squad, that Reiwoldt was right and he's going to the Zebs to refresh his form

Re: Next 4 games
How a season turns, not that long ago we were expecting to win most weeks, now, everyone is wondering how big the loss will be each week.
Losing to Essendon has dented our confidence. It's probably done the same thing to the team, if you can't beat a rabble, you can't be any good.

Re: Next 4 games
King HAS A PROBLEM.
How would I know? I'm not an AFL player
No, but Nick R was one of our very best.
He says King is a sook.
Go on, argue with one of our most revered players ever.
Rooey knows that Max has idolised him forever.
Every single training session, King sees the name of Nick R on his locker. Twice. When he gets his stuff out of the locker, and when he puts it back in.
The words must ring in his ears.
Rooey wants King to be the best he can be. Saying it on Fox Footy should motivate King to actuslly do something.
Cos the coaches aren't doing it.

Re: Next 4 games
The other pertinent point made by Roo about King, is he is a very 1 dimensional player. Ratten/Lade simply have to get all our key forwards leading up at the ball again. This stay at home bomb it long stuff is killing the entire side & their results!!!WellardSaint wrote: ↑Fri 01 Jul 2022 12:37am King HAS A PROBLEM.

The entire forward line functions so much better when there is movement, it takes the defenders out of their comfort zones.
