It's time to stop giving a sh#t
Well, we all know how we're feeling, but maybe it's time to stop investing so much into this team.
I've always had the mantra of not letting the fortunes of my football team determining my mood.
Lately, I have failed in this area, so from hereon, I have decided not to give a sh#t
The End

Re: It's time to stop giving a sh#t
Our football club doesn't step in and pay our bills nor did it listen to our free advice and collective wisdom when we suggested Petracca over you know who, or that we should steer clear of Hannebery, etc, etc, etc ... so, agree, cwrcyn.
Our club's woes are self inflicted ... and we shouldn't be so invested. We deserve better - and they can all get stuffed.

The 22 that played last night are not the club, just temporary reps.
The collective were as bad as it gets and that's 2 in a row. Club executive will react to get improvement.
Jones, Paton, Butler so out of form it's cruel to keep playing them in firsts.
Have to accept we have no half forwards of talent and a so so ruck and midfield. Lack one quality key defender.
Coach has reached the point where he has to change his approach and make significant personnel change.
Clark and Steele will improve, DMac back, Owens back, Paddy back, maybe Hill.
The pressure of making the 8 gone so can play with clear minds.
Coffield & Hayes back next year, good draft picks, recruiters are pretty good and there is likely to be natural improvement from Heath and the first year players that have been introduced.
I'll just be cross if they keep selecting chronic under performers. That's nuts.

Not a bad mantra to have.
But I think the way in which they lost last night was the most upsetting. I just want to see the lads have a red hot go each week. Even if they lose 100+ points, as long they play with some G&D that is what matters. But to bringing these sorts gutless and witless displays to football field should never be tolerated. It’s just insulting to those of us who invest time and money to this football club.

That’s how I’ve been for the last decade, knowing we’re no good so expectations are low.
The problem this year is we started 8-3, so expectations were up which opens us up to extreme disappointment.

It's only a game of football, watch them lose, then got on with life until they roll up the next week for another lesson in incompetence, then the cycle starts again.
The season will end, next season will come around, and , you guessed it, the cycle starts again.
Welcome to St Kilda.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Watch how many under performers from Sandy are selected this week, that might indicate if it's happening.
There were only 9 Saints players playing for Sandy on the weekend, 2 of them went OK but 1 of them is not a Key Defender as was proven against Amartey.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
